Ange needs to make a tweak in the system…. No. No, he doesn’t. He needs players that can play the system properly. Having a decent number 6 would shield the back a little bit more. A couple of creative wingers would help us in games where the opposition are compressed. But honestly, the issue was our front and midfield not pressing properly. They didn’t do their job and it allowed people to get through. Biggest factor though that people don’t realise is Ange is an animal. He only gets better over time because he is relentless. We are going to crush more teams this season as the style of play becomes more engrained in our players.
Having watch Ange build teams on Australia, Japan , Scotland and now England… reckon spurs will be 3rd. Possibly high as 2nd if no injury spates … worst 4th.

Newcastle cannot afford to make the upgrades they require to take them to the next step. They had to sell Minteh to Brighton(a direct rival) recently, who was one of the most highly regarded young players at the club. That would be akin to Spurs selling Sarr to Man U.
