    Very helpful as not much guidance on ice loading outside of ASCE 7 and ASCE MoP 74. However, the 2.0 factor from Eq. 10.4-5 seems to have been omitted.....? Surely you will get 2.2" of ice thickness for 'td' not 1.1" as shown? Hence, the weight will be double that calculated.....?

      Chris, Very good point. In minutes marker of 6:24 in the video you see the equation from new and prior asec the new code has a factor of 2 . This example was based on the old code.

    For the As in step 10, does it always add 1.1" of the width and length of ice load? And does 1.1" come from ASCE somewhere? Thank you.

      No, its based on location it can vary from 0.25 to 1.25.
