I can tell you this, those Japanese bass are some of the most bite shy fish I've ever seen, which is crazy for how much detail they put into all of their lures
@@knowsbeans no joke! I've never seen someone throw a bigger top water to catch a 2 lb bass 😆 they throw swim baits the size we use for a 50-in muskie here in the States!
Even though i dont understand nothing they are saying, their fishing technique is interesting. Many of those bass could have been caught with a smaller profile reaction style bait. These baits there using are GIANTANTIC. The 2ft long wacky rig was the best, though...lol. very interesting video.

In the USA now longer Swim Bait Rods are available and very popular. 7’4” or 8’6” heavy fast are available to us. Kastking makes a good one you can only buy online and they ship to your home in a nice heavy cardboard rod tube for a bonus. Around 100$ usd.
