Von "Read my mind" gibt es auch eine längere Version, keine Ahnung warum sie die "offizielle" gekürzt haben :/
Das hab ich vor ein paar Tagen auch gesehen, hab mich schon geärgert dass ich’s nicht vorher gemerkt hab 😅
"Time Spent Walking through Memories" wurde auch gestern eine längere Version auf deren Channel veröffentlicht.
Die Kürzungen sind vermutlich verbunden mit Sendezeit management.
Nothing against Onew but there was seriously no point in him being in that song. Not an execution thing, just more of an odd choice in the arrangement IMO. Sort of kills the feel of the song a bit. Rose was doing pretty much a perfect cover with really good but subdued vocals that fit really well in the instrumentation. His part just didn't really fit and if anything it took away from flow of the song. Which I don't think is his fault, it was just an odd choice. I think they could have made it a good duet, if that was their intent, by having him take a verse or part of a verse and then harmonize. This sort of reminded me of the Nell version where it's really good for like 80% and then at the end they add some stuff to the instrumentation that feels out of place with the tone of the song and doesn't build in a way that feels constructive. Sort of like more for the sake of having more instead of just taking a win. Each individual song doesn't need to have the arc of an album contained within it. It's fine to have some really good songs that just sit in a pocket, those tend to be some of the most iconic.
