Try moving your microphone closer to you if possible. Microphones are designed to be a few inches away from your mouth. Also, make sure your microphone is facing towards you and if it has different modes/polar patterns, then use cardioid. Hope that helps

this works pretty well for while you aren't talking, but when you are it doesn't seem to help. Great tutorial though and putting the steps in the description is nice too gl growing!

Yeah its really difficult to remove sounds when talking. Typically being close to the microphone, and using a dynamic microphone do the best job at removing that noise.

Where u meant like, the backround noises will be muted but ur voice isn't, muted, but if u wil, not talk ur voice will be muted in the video?

@@djtactician I think I was just mostly able to fix it by changing my close and open threshold quite a bit. Mine is at Close: -32, and Open -26. Also moving my mic around probably made a little difference, even though oddly enough I moved it closer but flipped it around haha.

Maximize the space between you and them, place your microphone so it's a few inches away from your mouth, put any soft object you can between you and them, such as a couch or blanket, and follow the tutorial. Ideally you want to be using a dynamic microphone as well

works great... except i'd like an OS level version of this type of thing.. i'm using PNGtubie (talking avatar) which opens its mouth each time i speak, but it's picking up button presses and opens its mouth when that happens. unfortunately realtek's noise suppression doesn't fix this...
