The spectacular Majestic Elegance Punta Cana 5 star deluxe hotel is located on the paradisiacal Bavaro Beach and with all-inclusive service, offers a unique experience to travellers looking for a sophisticated holiday in the Caribbean.
Unfortunately, it was reported in May 2019 that a woman from Delaware who was staying at this resort was brutally assaulted and left for dead by a resort male staffer.

The Majestic Elegance Punta Cana 5 star deluxe hotel is located in Arena Gorda (Playa Bavaro) 25kms / 15 miles away from the Punta Cana International Airport, 45 minutes from La Romana International Airport and 1hour 45minutes from Santo Domingo’s International Airport “Las Americas”. The Historic City of Santo Domingo can be easily reached by road in about 2 hrs.
There are several natural parks near Majestic Elegance Punta Cana for outdoor lovers such as Los Haitises, and several semi deserted islands such as Saona Island and Catalina Island. For those interested in a mix of native culture and modernity, Altos de Chavon in La Romana and of course the city of Santo Domingo are a must.
I visited the Majestic Elegance with my wife in March of 2019, we stayed in the Elegance Club, Adults Only section of the club.
We found the staff to be very friendly, always helpful and always greeted you with a smile and "Hola"
Our male Butler "Joan" was extremely attentive and made a point to find us at least once every day to see how we are doing and if we needed anything. He brought wine to our room when requested, he surprised us on a rainy day with a hot jacuzzi, cole champagne and rose pedals.
We did find the water on most days to be only luke warm, making for quick showers but as the week progressed the water seemed to get warmer.
The Majestic club pool and private beaches were perfect, secluded and relaxing, always a chair and hut available, never having to wake up early to claim a spot. The bartenders were swift and friendly and the drinks amazing, I personally recommend the Coco Loco.
Our favourite restaurants were the Italian and the Steak House, least favourite (for dinner) was See and Sea, we both had the Sea Bass which was a very small and dry portion. However, the appetizers (at all restaurants) were huge, far larger than one would expect.
Premium drinks at served at the main lobby bars (Patron Tequila) and standard drinks are served at all other bars.
The animation staff were excellent ESPECIALLY during the rainy days, they set up games in the lower lobby for all guests to play and take part in to keep us occupied while the rest of the resort was soaked!
The foam party was a highlight of the week, we had a smaller one at the Elegance pool and the one at the main pool looked like they were having a real blast!

My husband and I stayed at this resort June 15-June 20 along with two other couples. We debated on whether to cancel or not due to the news and social media. Needless to say we went and let me tell you it was an AMAZING experience. The staff were very attentive and not once did we feel unsafe. You gotta be wise when ever you vacation. Don’t go around by yourself late at night looking for a snack for goodness sake or like that one guy who won at the casino and was walking back alone and got jumped. I’m not saying it’s the victims fault AT ALL but use some common sense. We had a marvelous time and I’m glad we didn’t cancel.
I LOVE THIS RESORT SO MUCH....I went last year and now Ill be back there in a few days and I cant wait thats why Im here so I can feel like Im there NOW!!! lol Great video
MissParis86 I’ve been there too. But after reading the article about the woman who went there earlier this year and was beaten, choked and left for dead, at the resort and by someone wearing the resort uniform, I will never go there again. My goodness the pictures alone are hard to look at. I can’t believe she survived.

I stayed here and it is beautiful and this has reminded me why I shouldn’t feel so bad about being stupid and walking home alone. It was my first night and a beautiful place that gives you false security. There are so many good people there, but bad too. I did come into contact with a “security” person that probably doesn’t work there but watches for women walking home alone. I was approached after Blacking out on a 3 minute walk home from the entertainment for the evening. I had made some friends from Canada in the bar and they came upon me while I was “passed out”. I think they stopped whatever was going on. ❤️ I was too embarrassed to speak up the next day and I think I was very lucky. I only lost my purse, had a bump on my head and a twisted ankle. Just be with someone always if you go there.

Never go there google the news about guest brutally attacked on the grounds by a person wearing resort uniform. The guest was hospitalized for 5 days The resort refused to refund the vacation nor covered the medical bills. Despicable company and service.
Its a NO for me too!!! There are several horror stories regarding this resort!!! I truly believe that many of these attacks on the resort are inside jobs orchestrated by some shady employees ! They know the layout of the property and housekeeping has access to your room at all times!!!

FINALLY a review provides opinions about the food and everything else! I need you to go to more resorts because getting enough info from vlogs (especially about food) to make in informed decision for where to vacation is like pulling teeth. I'm not even bothered about the length of this video because it gives me the option to pick what I want to see, as opposed to not being given the option due to the video being too short. This is a really great video nicely done and quite informative. I stayed at the majestic mirage club in 2021 loved it but, we signed up for so many excursions that we missed most of the resort. Hubby and I are heading back in three weeks we will stay at the Majestic Elegance club this time and I am looking forward to a fun relaxing getaway with no excursions. I took some notes and can’t wait to explore, swim, eat and dance

I have been searching for a nice adult all inclusive and I want to thank you. You helped make up my mind as to where my friends and I are going on vacation. I love the look of that resort. It has everything I need to keep everyone happy.

Yes we tipped the house keeping a few bucks a day, we tipped the butler two tips of $10 and then the bartenders on occasion a few bucks here and there but we didn't tip every single drink or meal

LOVE YOUR VLOG! SHOWS US ALOT MORE DEPTH OF OUR COMING UP TRIP TO MAJESTIC ELEGANCE. It will be our 7th time to Punta Cana. I think this will be the place to return every year. Coming from the upper north shore of Boston, on the water. We come down for our anniversary every year, this will be our 40th (but we still think we are 25)

@Freaktography I have been there to the Elegance twice and loved it. The weather was fabulous both times I went and it maybe rained heavy at night which was great. Really enjoyed watching the video it almost felt like I was there. I spent a week at the Mirage last year in February and it was a most awesome time as well. All the food was great and never had any complaints. We met so many nice employees when we stayed at the mirage that we still keep in touch with them. Again great video.

A girl posted a picture on FB of her battered face and body who was left for dead at this hotel. She stated a staff member, who she couldn’t identify other than his resort shirt with the logo on it, attacked her. The resort could not be held liable. They didn’t offer to compensate them for their medical bills or pain and suffering. And didn’t reimburse them for the cost of their trip either. Hell, they didn’t even apologize.. They stated they are not responsible. They do not have security cameras on the premises. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT.

I'm not buying that ladies story. There's alot of inconsistencies. She claims she was missing for 8 hours but doesn't tell us if her family notified authorities and if a search went on. Her story sounds made up and all of a sudden 4 months later she decides to make a rabdom post about it on her facebook page that goes viral in less than a day. she's blaming the hotel but doesn't elaborate on anything. Her husband probably beat her up.

They did offer to pay her medical bills an there was a member of the resort with her all the time, everything she said they didn't they actually did do, I do feel for the woman very much but you can't believe everything you read either
Also, why did it take her her 4mths to come forward even though she said she wanted to warn other guests, why not come forward soon as she was back in the States an yes she asked for 2.2 M $, but was refused as they need to investigate more an the woman also worked for an insurance company, like I said I really do feel for her, but sadly it doesn't add up.

We came to this resort 2 Year’s ago but last year went to a different resort with our daughter in Punta Cana .we coming back to majestic in August with our 13 year old daughter .we fell in love with the people they place was fantastic

fellow Canadian?? me and my wife have been looking through the internet at resorts lately this majestic complex is standing out as a go to....and the DR is looking pretty good to what i have seen...going to one of theses resorts is on the bucket list to do....we got screwed over going to vegas in march 2020 thxs to covid :( so we are eager to make up for that...and vegas has fallen off our list prices and it starting to look sketchy.....and this type of beach resort looks soooooooo relaxing......im am a fellow yuotuber my self...but i mostly have videos about demolition derby...vegas was to go to for a demolition derby being held at the plaza hotel :) so agin GREAT video the way u editted in places and things u had done all week.....i hope to convince the wife to go here...and yes we want to upgrade to high tier as we wont be doin theses trips every yr.....liked and subcribed...great stuff thumbs up !!
I’ll never ever go again. This place was sketchy. We stayed at the new elegance and it was creepy and bizarre. Weirdos. Be ware. They give you a “Butler” who has entry to your room AT ALL TIMES!! When I heard about the woman who was brutally attacked by a worker here and almost murdered, I BELIEVED IT 100%. Please please pay the extra $300 for a nice resort. Please

I've been there in 2011. I loved the all you can places and they had a theme every night. The food is very good.
I like the entertainment.
I liked how they had a family resort, a couples resort and a more calm resort.
The Majestic is a dangerous drink especially in the swim up bar. We had the all inclusive package.
We went after hurricane season. it only rained once and kinda drizzled on another day. But, the rain didn't bother us because it was warm.

I enjoy this video alot but before I book my stay at this all inclusive I have a few questions to ask you.the first question is if they offer a free bottle of wine for the guest?on your video you said that you have to pay for wine when is an all inclusive resort.Second of all can you tell me how many restaurants in total this resort has? thirdly did you see a sand volleyball court there?I saw a net on the pool
hey there, yes wine is free but there are some restaurants that offer certain wines for purchase. I believe there were 5 or 6 restaurants and yes there are volleyball nets at the beach

Normal house wine is covered but if you want something better you have to buy it

Thanks for the review. My wife and I would like to stay at the Elegance Club but we have teenagers. Do you think we can make it work if they get their own room in the standard building?
The food was horrible, every meal was bad. The beach was filled with seaweed. The drinks were watered down and I asked for an additional blanket every night but they only brought sheets. They never answer the front desk phone, in order to ask for anything we had to walk 10 minutes to the front desk. NEVER AGAIN!

We are planning a trip to Majestic Elegance... You video is awesome. I do a couple questions of you don't mind. This is our First "all inclusive" we have been on a few cruises, it looks like a cruise but on land.
1. You mentioned you were a Elegance Club member, what does that mean and how do we get to be club members?
2. Is there a list of included/not included areas?
3. How do we know we are in the adult only area?

Great video, I’m from Vancouver BC and really interested in the hotels here. I am disappointed that you can’t pay one and eat and drink at 3 of the resorts
When you stay at a resort like that, and you have dinner somewhere other than the main dining room, the French restaurant for example, do you have to pay extra?
Some all inclusives to have a premium fine dining restaurant that you have to pay for, which I think is ridiculous, Sandals in St Lucia had that and I couldn't believe it. However, no resort I have ever stayed at in Dominican Republic did that
