New PB, broke into the 30s! Really feel like I'm getting close to, if not reaching the limit of this car with street tires. Would love to try an R7 or Proxes R to really see what kind of difference the rubber can make. Experimented with shifting back into 2nd after China Beach and into the carousel; just need a couple more mp/h into thunder valley, might be able to achieve that with taller tires.
Running with Buckeye BMWCCA for their annual HPDE, love the group and would highly recommend coming out with us next year.

Thanks for posting these! If it was not for you I would still be running 1:50's, now I'm in the 1:43's. When I was in the 1:50's I was shifting into 4th gear on front straight and shifting into 2nd into 7 and holding that until thunder valley. Once I saw your videos, you showed me that you can run 3rd everywhere but the back straight. I was the silver Cayman in the B group.

Hell yeah! Shifting into 3rd for thunder valley is still a little dicey but I think with taller wheels I might be able to hold 2nd, I really only need a couple mp/h. In prior sessions
I messed around with short shifting after 9 but still felt like I was lugging a bit too much. Hope you had a good time with us, should've came over garage 17 and chatted it up.
