I really appreciate that you explain what you're doing and why. It just makes freestyle designing so much easier to pull the designs together. I have been working on the elephant design and have managed to get it down to 8 mins. My goal is 5 mins. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge so freely.
Thank you for saying that! I was wondering if the voice over would be too distracting or if people would prefer just music so that you for the feedback! 8 minutes is great! Honestly if you just do it over and over again for a week you will definitely get it down to 5 minutes for sure. :) Muscle memory is key when it comes to speed at henna
Love your designs. You ve understood Indian traditions and designs quite well! Incredible. Love it. The elephant design is so creative! Wish there was some way to give 100 likes😊
You are an artistic genius! I've never watched a henna artist before. I've been learning his to Zen Doodle. There are so many similarities with both of these kinds of designs. Repetition is my friend!😅 I have to draw one thing over and over an over again until my muscles grow a memory!
So perfectly done and cleaned and those designs are mesmerizingly beautiful 😍. I so love your henna designs and a fan of how incredibly beautiful talent henna artist you are dear . Very kind of you sharing your knowledge to beginner even I can as an amateur .😍😍😘😘❤❤❤❤
I am very very new at this and I am getting very discouraged, but thank you for the encouraging words! it’s good to know that it does get better! Lol I found you off of Instagram and I’m so glad i did. These in depth tutorials are awesome and very helps full. love your work it is so beautiful!
sorry I am just now seeing this but I am so honored you finding these videos useful! And yes don't give up I know firsthand how discouraging it can be in the very beginning trying to learn the henna cone its definitely quite different from a pen, pencil or paintbrush, but with practice you will get it!
I just wanted to tell you I’m a fairly new subscriber & I adore you & your channel! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work & talent w/ all of us, your a definite inspiration! I was wondering how much do you charge for these designs, or any of your works of art in general? I would someday like to do this professionally, but I have no clue as to what kind of pricing to put on them. Sure would appreciate the advice. Again, thank you for all your hard work, & sharing all of your amazing designs!! Sending Love 💕 & Light💫✨
Thank you so much, really beautyful.. but can you use a left hand next time? Because i often do henna on my own hands and its easyer follow you, if i dont have to chance the motive in my head to draw it on my left hand ^^
Where do you purchase the squeeze tube of henna? Is it reusable or does it come with henna in it? How long do you leave the henna on? I love the designs🖌
New subbie here! love your videos have been binge watching you this evening. 2 videos i think your audience would like to see are an "about me" (if u havent already done that) and for me...can you PLEASE do a tutorial on how to do hand designs on yourself? xo
I am definitely planning on that about me for sure! That is a very good idea! And what part about doing henna on yourself would you like to know more about?
Hello and thank you for your video. I noticed you flick your fingers and rubbing your ring finger (nail). Is this meant to clean any henna left on the tip of the cone?
Yes I had a balayage done! I have a video on it as well that might be helpful especially if you've used henna in you hair recently: ruclips.net/video/lgDSLMWWysY/видео.html
So nice! I'm from Guatemala ( man 47 y o ) but I live at.nj.. can u explain the best way to hold the cone. Between what fingers .. how is the pression u make.. how is the henna .cold? Frozen? Warm ? Do u make a.biger hole to let the henna come out or is better a fine cone hold?. I'm practicing.. I really love this art ...ah do yo press the cone to the skin ?.or is like draw on air ??
Lorosa Rosa hey there! So glad you're getting into, I definitely plan on making a more detailed video on how to hold the cone but I hold it between the thumb and pointer finger, but as the cone becomes less full you can fold the top part on the cone down on top of it's self and then the thumb is resting and pushing down on the base of the pointer finger, if that makes sense. And the cone is room temperature. Cones take 10 minutes to defrost so you want them to be fully defrosted before you use them
Lorosa Rosa also I work mostly with the cone tip on the skin but sometimes for straight lines I will drape where the cone is a little above the skin as you work across
Lorosa Rosa I work with one same size hole in the cone tip. If you check out my video on how I roll henna cones you can see can either roll the cones closed and then cut open of you can roll with a pin, I'll be making an updated video on how I roll cones with a pin which is my preferred method
Sameela haha no worries yes in fact they are plugs but I put in the earrings first since they have hooks and then I put the plugs in after, I never go out without them!
I don't, but I do recommend using Jagua Gel for achieving a black color since most "black henna cones" are full of chemicals and aren't safe for topical use. You can find out more from www.freshjagua.com
I really appreciate your videos. Would love to see an about me video :) I just started following you on instagram! Am I right in thinking you are a devotee? I assumed just from your channel name Gopi Henna haha :)
just seeing this now! Yes I am an aspiring devotee hehe and Yes I need to do a story vid about all that since I names my biz Gopi Henna in reference to Radha the Supreme Gopi since it's definitely Her mercy I found henna

Excuse this comment just marking the one that I am doing for eid 10:04
Oh hell no😖😫🥹
How is this for beginners if she needed a lot of practice for it? 🤔
Iulia Ceclan as a beginner you almost certainly will never get everything right, many many techniques take a lot of practice but as a beginner you should at least know what they are and what to look out for on the path in order to advance so that is why this is for beginners
Super super super solla vaarthai illai
