- The Crocuses might be blooming, but snow is on our doorstep for tonight. This is Maine after all. I just wanted to get outdoors today and enjoy it, even if it was a bit chilly. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Kat! That's nice your able to spend time outdoor before the storm. It always taste better when a meal can be cooked outdoor, looks very good. Hope you don't get much snow and it melts fast. We still have snow it's melted some but it's just been too cold for much melting. Take care and God bless.💕

Snow….oh no ! We’ve got an inch forecasted for tomorrow and 2” for Friday but 4” on Saturday. I’m done with it but know it won’t last long. Enjoy every day you can while you can because tomorrow is promised to one of us. Fine looking meal cooked outdoors which makes it even better. Take care.👍👍

Thank goodness you did this yesterday. the snow here is blowing around in 45 mph winds. and it is still below freezing. It looked really good I hope you enjoyed it. I also have been watching sugars, carbs, salt and fats. I have lost 15 lbs. in two months. So I guess something is working. I hope we don't get the storm they are predicting for Fri. night into Sat. we were just getting to get some bare ground here and there. I'm sure most of your snow is gone. Oh yes, the wind today is wild out there and causing many problems in this area. We got just a dusting of snow overnight. The snow was all gone, and the dusting has mostly melted. Our Crocuses have opened up. Not sure how they’re looking today though. That is great that you’ve already lost 15 lbs. (I’ve lost 5 lb.s so far). You’re doing something right! Stay safe out there, and have a blessed evening ♥️

Well it always tastes better outdoors and when you have a back yard like that, I would be doing a lot of outdoor cooking. I love Brussel spouts but did not know you had them over there, not everyone's favourite vegetable but I would eat them every day. We tend to only have turkey at Christmas but that meal would be for me too and I am trying to cut as much bread out of my diet as possible too, cheers Alan
Thank you Alan. We have the ground turkey which is nice and can be substituted for ground beef. I’m currently eating a bowl of chili I made earlier, using the turkey. It’s kind of nice. Enjoy your weekend! Blessings to you both ♥️♥️

That's so neat you cook outside. And that looks very good. I love brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes, but never used sweet potatoes in stir fry. Thanks for the idea. Our snow was gone than last night, we got 4" of it. LOL Yeah you guys did get a lot of rain last Spring, flooded everywhere down there. Nice and simple sometimes taste better. Have a good one Kat.

The great outdoors, it may only be late March but I am working at getting the winter mess cleaned up on my lawn ( it bugs me) when I see all the sticks and thousands of pine cones that came down in the winter winds. Last years endless rain caused my pines to produce tons of cones now I get to clean them all up for the 2nd time since last fall, it may be work but I still love being outside (in my barefeet) cleaning up and playing with my dog. Hi Dave! We’ve got to enjoy the nice days while we have them (even in bare feet) 🙂 We too, had & still have loads of sticks & an endless supply of pinecones (they’ll come in handy for making fires in the pit). I did some raking, but will mulch what I can’t rake, with the lawn mower. I’m sure your dog loves the attention and being outside too. The ticks are out here now, but I took a chance of walking the trails out here earlier and didn’t find any. They must not like the cold. Have a blessed day!
