Yes! Old deck on the house and old back steps are gone (they were unsafe). New ones will be built now 🤗 It was so interesting watching the delivery person using his hand held remote device, to place everything where I wanted it. Fascinating to me, but probably not to others 😂 I’m like a kid watching it all 🙂

Hi, I filled the bottle with cold water, then poured the bottled water into cup. I put the cup of water over the fire to heat it up, and then used a pot holder (could probably use a glove if handle is hot). It’s been so long since I did this, that I’m trying to remember. Some of these cups have heat resistant handles. Thank you for asking.

When my father was at the end of his life he would say, “I wish I had done ---(this, or that)” and when he was unable to walk he would say “maybe I can do ---- (this or that), but it was too late. I felt so bad for him. He fought so hard to keep on living. On the inside he had his drive and the willpower. His mind was telling him, he could do it, but his poor body on the outside was broken. Our elders who have passed on, have gone through the same emotions and feelings we have. When we are young we don’t think about being old with wrinkles & white hair (or bald ☺️).
