    It was weird that Musk wore a WWII bomber jacket. He should put on his CIA T-shirt that says “admit nothing, deny everything, and make counter claims!” That would be so fitting.

    Thank you Kara, Scott and everyone at #Pivot podcast.. Listening to your comments about Twitter (I refused to call it X) ads. From my pov I call it Twitter-whack-a-mole. I spend the first two minutes on the app blocking every single ad. I don't want to deal with any company that would advertise on Twitter.

    My experience in my years on Twitter was that I never saw an advertisement that interested me. Instagram does a decent job of showing me things I might buy. RUclips, without exception, shows me advertisements that irritate me. It thinks because I watch Christopher Hitchens videos that I’d be interested in PragerU or Hillsdale College advertisements. But Twitter NEVER show me anything of interest. I barely even notice the advertisements. And that was before Musk.

    As someone who called Elon Musk the Henry Ford of my generation years ago, I found the whole interaction f’n hilarious. Musk is the schmuckiest schmuck who ever schmucked. I couldn’t have less respect for someone, and I have a great deal of respect for intellect. But the man is a poster child for intelligence not equaling wisdom. I would have difficultly not spitting in his face, let alone shaking his hand.

    No excusing, just hypothesising, but Musk might have been confusing his host with Jonathan Ross the English chatshow host for a moment. Possibly appearing on Ross’ new show in the New Year (may have recently filmed it while in London) and it was front of mind for some reason. Although unfamiliar to most US citizens, English Ross has been the number one chatshow host in the UK for over two decades.

    • @bosoerjadi2838
      @bosoerjadi2838 10 месяцев назад

      He simply forgot the guy's first name but remembering his last name, which wouldn't do at the moment he invokes their 'friendship'. So coming up with of course the very famous name Jonathan Ross, who is also a presenter/interviewer, highly gifted and personable at that to boot, is very natural. It's a pity Elon didn't call Andrew Ross Bob. Then a Jonathan Ross caliber witted interviewer woukd have quipped with "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents.."
      Edit. Graham Norton might agree with JR's chatshow being number one, but the ratings appear to disagree.

    It's so sad to see two of my favorite people in tech and finance become so disconnected from reality. Elon is doing things leaders fail to do or even talk about. He even addresses crime while you all just put your heads in the sand. You pick and choose what's important to you while neglecting the most vulnerable people in America. It's weird. You won't understand what I'm saying because you have an image to uphold but Elon said something like he's tired of people pretending to do good instead of actually doing good. Your generation failed future generations and the kids see it. Diverting American tax dollars to foreign countries and completely neglecting public safety. I'll never understand it. You hate the country that allowed you to earn wealth because you're clueless about what happens in 3rd world countries. Inadvertently turning America into a 3rd world country by putting your heads in the sand. That bystander effect of not wanted to get involved. So you and the rebellious only go after people who are accountable for their actions while allowing the worst of the worst to accrue "multiple prior arrests." It's weird how quick everyone turned on Elon once he stopped agreeing with your own opinions. There is truth to what he says and you trying to discredit him rings false. It feels contrived. It's more agenda than journalism. As I write this, I look up in to corner of the RUclips page to see the next video "Man found ... in front yard of Queens home." Again, the most vulnerable people are ignored in this ongoing genocide right here in America. New York, Chicago and California and like mayor Adams said, there is no help coming. But, if you've lost your love for tech journalism just go away and let people innovate, especially in America where you didn't even make an effort to combat outsourcing. But here you are today slamming one of the few men who wants to do the right thing for humanity. It's hard to believe because your moral compass is broken but you're not alone. Many jealous people who can't admit someone is trying to so the right thing, and not everyone is evil if they believe something different than you. And it's ok to be a patriot.
