  • Qick test on MW AM band, in night reception.
In background can hear local thunderstorm ( lightning discharges ).
Selectivity is good for MW band.

Дуже цікава конструкція. На схожих принципах побудовані сучасні чіпи DSP радіоприймачів.

Thanks for the video Ingus Silins! Good circuit and very interesting & very good reception results. The principle was showed in 1950's radio Magazines, but that is of course no "problem" because now, 2023, we can make it with transistors & we can get good/better results with this (as far as I know, correct me when I am wrong), synchrodyne radio type. I have Radio Magazines of the 1950's where this principle is discussed, though in those days made with radio tubes. You know that for sure, you know also the Elektor circuit of this "synchrodyne", I have read your comments in your earlier video. I only miss the schematic..... This type of radio (by its properties) has a critical tuning, but you surely show that in this video and that is important and interesting. But: without the schematic no one can also make this receiver and/or get these good reception results. Though, thanks again, it is a very good video. 31 aug 2023.

My all RC tuned receiver circuits works below oscillation point and like a active band pass filters - amplifiers with AM demodulator.
In Google can find Elektuur magazine 1973 years circuit.
Search google: "BCB receiver without coils"
Circuit with transistors. Similar circuit I found in russian "Радио" ( Radio magazine ) and built up in many years ago. Russian circuit is with incorect biasing and don't work with hight gain transistors.

Thanks very good info! Also that the circuits in the Russian magazines did not work due to (say) biasing issues, many years ago. Like you know, proper biasing of transistor amplifiers and radio circuits is critical and key for succes. Could be that these Russian schematics have worked when the engineers made them, but were not reproducable due to spread in transistor (s) properties when they were manufactured. Anyway: I prefer "working" circuits under all circumstances, also with spread in transistor properties. All my published circuits work via that idea, they are always adapted for the YT public and "beginners" in electronics, for the maximum success factor. And I am sure the schematics/circuits that you publish on You Tube also work, because you show them "as they are" and really test them and show the test results. Not many YT Electronics Channels work that way, it is often/always theory or lengthened quasi repair video's, without schematics. By the way: no problem with these "amusement", Electronics VLOGS, by the way. Also no problems with the YT Electronics theory VLOGS. But the difference about practics and electronics theory is very big, anyway. 5 sept. 2023.

Making a regenerative receiver without using an inductor is pretty novel. I'm not sure I've seen a circuit quite like this.

In Google can find RC receiver without coils: search: "BCB receiver without coils".
Similar circuit I found in russian internet.
Other versions use operational amplifiers and Wien bridge, or phase shift RC network.

Labdien, esmu no Latvijas, no kurienes esat Jūs? Man kaut kā nepaveicas saņemt radiostancijas krievu valodā.
