There were many Baltic, Western Ukrainian polizais, and few Belorussian polizais. But they were not more than a couple of thousands. The vast majority of Soviet people resisted and fought against German nazism and fascism.

well British and American movies about WW2 always give the impression that either Britain or the USA won the war all by themselves when in fact WW2 was mainly won on the Eastern Front by the Russians who suffered millions and millions of casualties, I've yet to see an English speaking movie that depicts WW2 from a Russian point of view and that is because for so long in the 1950s and onwards Russia was considered a cold war enemy to the western world so their huge contribution as an Ally in WW2 tends to get either re- written or totally forgotten about, but the fact is if it wasn't for Russia we would all be speaking German right now and Donald Trump would have a Hitler moustache and be wearing a swastika around his arm.....well I guess many of his followers dress like that anyway...but you get my meaning.

For a cheap film this was actually very very well made. Better made than some WW2 Blockbusters, the gun sounds and the effects beside that truck explosion which we don’t talk about.
