Got a 2005 1.8 petrol VVTI version. Great car, very reliable, comfortable and loads of room inside the cabin and boot. Lots of features my old BMW 3 series didn’t have too, like power folding mirrors, dual climate control and auto dimming rear view mirror etc 😁
Jonathan Since he didn’t reply, I assume the person got rid of it simply for natural reasons because the car is 18 years old, so it’s lacking new features (like Apple CarPlay), new interior designs, etc. If those don’t matter to you (like myself) then keep the car 👍
Has anyone chip tuned this engine - 2.0 D4-D 126hp? I have the same engine on a Toyota Auris and I would like to squeeze more from it. I would like to know a safe method to increase its power. Also, should I remove the DPF which is still active, before making any changes over the engine's power? I appreciate any relevant feedback! Thanks!
@@ilarionispas5104 my dad bought the PULSAR GEN2 GTX3584RS Turbo Super Core. He bought DC sports cold air intake and he put a brand new toyota clutch and chip tuned it
This car has absolutely nothing to surprise you with, so it should be ok for learning how to drive. The only downside for new drivers is that if it is a sedan or a liftback- reverse parking might be a little bit tricky.
The crew, I have the same engine on a Toyota Auris. Do you have any tips? Do you know any safe methods to chip tune it? I have to say that mine has a DPF active as well and this may complicate things a little...
@@sergejavdic hello :) What other changes did you make besides the chiptune and dpf delete? Have you changed anything engine-related? Sport filter, new injectors, custom turbo etc? Anything like that?
Just bought this car, and instead of driving it I'm watching a video of someone driving it.

Thermostat is stuck open and you were using the heat, engine temp was around 60°C.

Well it’s a Toyota, so most people buying it only care about reliability rather than speed.
