Van Camping the Las Vegas Strip in my Astro Van

- Never have I ever seen the Las Vegas Strip before and part of the purpose of this road trip is to get out there and experience new things and new cultures. Well Las Vegas with all the flashing lights is certainly a different culture than what I am used to.
Overall, I'm not a huge fan of the Strip but it would be much more fun if I had lots of money to freely spend and friends to do it with lol.
I am glad I walked the Strip and seen all of this for the first time but I cannot say that I would do it again for fun and especially alone! It was a good experience though.

Haven't been to Vegas in years. It's a very busy place and expensive place that's for sure .

I used to work at the Wynn and Encore and unfortunately all of the resorts started charging for parking in 2023 and beyond.
I didn't watch the van build videos but make sure you're tuning up your van to get the maximum mileage. Oil additives can help too in multiple areas of your vehicle. Just did 7500 miles around the US in my 23 FT RV.
What kind of oil additives do you recommend?
I lived in Vegas for 20 years.😊 I moved in 2006 up here to Virginia, single mom didn't want to raise my kids there. But one thing you should have done while you were there is the Fremont experience at night it's pretty cool
I did end up going to Fremont Street later on in the week with my parents when they came down
I love Vegas, the lights are awesome but I hate all the people and I never gamble because I always loose my money too.
Why Vegas seems to be everything you hate but you seemed to enjoy a bit. You do a good job wish you had more subs to make it easier for you. You need a bit more money coming in to take the worry of cost. Keep doing what you do always enjoy watching you. Well done
The music on parking lots have been added as a diturant for the homeless people to not sleep there. It was not like that before. I remember couple years ago that I went over there and parking lots were quiet. Good thing that you have your van isulation to quiet it down. Also, the 10 Dollars you wasted on the casino would be better off used it on the Strat Tower Ticket to get to the top. Great views up there. Great video love that van.
You are right, I should’ve used it for the tower ticket 😭
One thing to take away from this though - you successfully stealth camped at what is considered the most high class / top-rated resort casino on the strip.
I feel you, bro. I've lived in Vegas for 27 years and I still feel that I don't belong here. I'm only happy when I'm out at the surrounding desert.
P.s. Don't feel bad. Casinos don't deserve a single penny of your money. They have become ridiculously greedy in the past few years.
Okay okay, you’ve got the same feeling that I’ve got. Vegas is not great, but the surrounding desert is INCREDIBLE. Like wow so many amazing things within an hour of the city

Hey Bronson, I agree, I don't care for Vegas either way too many people and traffic. Yeah, it's ok to visit to see what it's; like but I wouldn't want to live there. I like the desert exploration and the peacefulness. I am glad though you were able to walk the strip as there are a lot of interesting attractions to see. You just have to be careful as there are a lot of scammers. And yeah Death Valley is so cool to visit as there is a lot of history. I hiked there for about a week in the spring as it wasn't too hot. Thanks for creating interesting and awesome scenic videos

Hi Bronson. I totally get how you feel about Vegas. I’ve never been but I don’t like crowds. I’d get lost too in the maze of casinos. The gambling is ridiculous!! I can watch a TV show about Vegas and be happy. Go to New York to see tall buildings. Those are cool. Not safe there now so never mind. I thought this might be something that would be helpful for you. It’s called The club. It’s a lock you put on your steering wheel. Prevents theft of your vehicle. Our vans are too easy to steal. I’ve got one and it gives me peace of mind. How nice that your parents are coming out to visit. Maybe a nice meal in the cards. 😎😎😎
Yes I think the Casinos and that whole vibe is an odd thing. Seems like everybody there is extremely fake in their own realities 😳

Yep, that's pretty much how I interact with Vegas. Walk in the evenings only for the atmosphere, gambling is only entertainment so I decide how much I would be willing to spend for a ticket for entertainment, usually 20 bucks, and eat a cheap meal while I'm out for my walk. Never could understand how people go there and blow thousands to millions of dollars, it's just not that great. I would like to go to the Area 15 store bc its a novelty also its not on the strip which might make it a little more fun. Thanks for sharing your adventure, glad to see I'm not the only who wasn't overly impressed with the money hole in Nevada.
Money hole is the easiest way to describe it, I’m not a huge fan 😉

Still it’s an experience we should all have to remind us how good being somewhere else is. I think the only thing I’d really enjoy would be the restaurants,, remember fat guy here. lol

Great video like always Vegas is beautiful and It looks exciting but I wouldn’t wanna go there I lived in New York almost all my life couldn’t take all the noise and crowded streets I used to get out of work and all you see people crowded streets and the subways was just as crowded. You were lucky if you get a seat.so I left now I live in nice quiet place different state but I do miss it once in a while 😊so I know how you felt I hope you enjoyed just a little bit 😅maybe someday you can go back with friends and money 💰 and really enjoy it! And again really enjoy this video you had me laughing 😅

Visit old downtown it’s better than the strip imo there is live bands that are free and good no joke it’s free I was just there for new years

Yes I went once and it seemed like an adult playground. Didn’t feel any need to go there again! I didn’t like using my hard earned money and watching it pass away. At the time I went you could still use coins and I kept a jug of quarters which slowed down the rate of losing my money!!! You probably can’t even do that now!!!

Thanks for letting me know where I can park for $20! lol I've been there before but never on my own, only with other people and pretty much only could do what they wanted (and they were people who fought a lot, not fun). I plan on going back there and taking a million pics and making an awesome video about it. I might have to spend enough for 2 nights cuz I know I can't do it in one day. But, that's ok, I will enjoy the city for $40, I know I won't have a lot of money either, but at least my photography will keep me entertained! lol
Yea, gotta watch out for the fake monks, I've heard about them. Glad nothing bad happened to you near the Strat, pretty dangerous area over there, even more so than the rest of Vegas, but your a guy...little different...this was fun, I'm hoping to go there in the fall, after the heat passes...and DEFINITELY checking out the Valley of fire!
Heck yeah, the photography there was actually a lot of fun. That’s something I don’t include in my videos often is my personal photography. I spent a lot of time photographing the lights and such.
In my opinion and advice, spend one night near Fremont street, better vibes, more fun, much better photography opportunities, and overall more enjoyable
