@@johnlecavalier6199his “stats” per se wasn’t so one sided, in xrd he had good defense because of BDC and good offense with high damage off of some starters, here he’s just a slaughterhouse with 80% of the screen neutral skips and ass defense

Fun fact: Slayer 2H is considered a projectile and I believe that's why he can't use it to destroy jacko's minions

Nah, it's because 2hs hits low and not floating minions. Pretty sure it can kill the minions if timed right.

@@drfil146 Can confirm as a Ram main. Tossing raw HS sword in neutral is almost acceptable against Jack-O because it will kill all minions.

Tone Slayer's HP and damage down, give him more dandy step follow-ups and the character becomes good once again.

Slayer needs an actual backdash and needs his HP and damage toned down. Giving him more dandy step follow-ups is NOT the solution.
Some stuff to nerf is the vertical hitbox on close slash and the range of 2H + the low crush (I genuinely don’t know what they were thinking with the low crush I know he jumps up but genuinely why.)

​@jotogoat spoken like someone who's never played Slayer. The hell do you mean tone down Bat Stomp to give it less range and no crush? It's LITERALLY what the move is for. And his close slash replaces his old 2S anti-air, which was even better since it was wide af and wasn't tied to proximity.

@@r15835 2h was fine in Xrd because the range wasn’t as egregious compared to the size of the screen. In this game, it literally pays your taxes with how broken it is. Even most slayer players agree current 2H has gotta go. Seems to me you’re just defending one of the most overtuned normals in the game for the sake of keeping your character corny.
