I’m just glad that it’s only temporary. I’d rather not see three-four years of character development go down the drain.

Since we are in yet another arc, here are my guesses: it will be between 6 and 10 episodes, and the outcome of it will be (well, at least for me) Meggy becoming a lawyer (as she said at Mario's University) and sports coach in her spare time (as she told Mario in She's Back)
I'm calling it--there's going to be yet another permanent character death.

@@RealSirMikay i bet it gonna be meggy. Think about in the firs arc second episode we see destiny die at the end and next axol in the scenond episode of the zero arc. So maggy could be next. But smg4 would not kill her off. right.
@@Mrcookiemonster515 I really don't think they would kill off meggy just like that. She has a whole entire series off of her on glitch, she made live streams, shes like more of a main character than mario sometimes, so don't expect meggy to die any time soon.
If I somehow manage to jinx myself than just blame me for her death but she is such an important character to smg4 I don't think they would just kill her off like that.

I don’t many people realize or remember that most n64 games were developed by rare and published by Nintendo, Nintendo didn’t make it, rare did so golden eye is rare’s property not Nintendo I guess the same could be said about geno since square did develop the game so I guess geno got in since most of lukes workers liked geno I guess

The funniest thing is.. that any arc that comes out will be less epic, I mean they crew fought a literal god and traveled to DIFFRENT dimensions. I think a lawsuit will be a breeze for them XD

@@luna7822 Alright, Luna, here's the thing: I knew it was going to be a new arc but I didn't expect SMG4 to make the playlist so soon. He usually puts out new arc playlists around four to five episodes in, not two. So I just guessed "The DMCA Arc" because I didn't realize the playlist was out already. Hope that clears things up.

1. Smg4 put the arc playlist out because it's going to be shorter than usual, or
2. He just wanted to subverse our expectations.
Not gonna lie, but there was something scary about Banjo being blasted at Galeem. It just shows that gray zone area characters are killed if they are no longer of use

I just love the idea that Miyamoto will hear Mario out without the slightest hesitation. It makes sense, Mario is kind of the guy that made Miyamoto the king of videogames he is today. Mario's never steered him wrong before, so of course he's willing to give any of the plumber's ideas a chance, and it makes for a pretty wholesome creator-character relationship. Hopefully we'll get to see more of that in the future

Arguably the whole lawsuit fiasco was pretty much Meggy’s fault due to her reckless actions of standing up to Nintendo so SMG4 did have a point of how the firewall was her fault. Had she not been so reckless in standing up to Nintendo, the whole arc probably wouldn’t have happened

As can be seen by some of the comments here, a LARGE portion -- not sure if it's a majority or just a loud whiny minority -- would throw all of Meggy's character development into the garbage and reset her to how she was before "Final Hours"… Ultimately they'd love to be rid of Meggy completely because in their eyes she's the reason SMG4 is "ruined"
Seems your on the side that agrees that human Meggy was a good thing like Viger.
Bruh, Meggy's character development is weak and holds no value. Desti was a character everyone hated, including Meggy herself, yet when she died Meggy suddenly acts like she lost her best friend that she's known her entire life. Even if they gave those two *some* screen time together, their relationship towards the end and Meggy's reaction towards her death makes no sense and despite what you think, wasn't something that had to happen in the first place for the series to grow. If anything, the series devolved around that time.
Luke and Kevin didn't do it because they're good storytellers, they did it because they want money and more fans, regardless whether their fans are loyal since the beginning or new anime simps they can reel in with rushed character development. Just like with the story of SMG0, it was wasted on Melony's development that was a copy-and-paste of Meggy just so they could do it again and convince more suckers to buy merch, while Zero's story had far more potential than Melony and Axol.
Seriously, ask yourself: when has Melony's powers been relevant or used since the end of the Revelations Arc last year? Desti and Axol's deaths were meaningless and still are, since they've once again milked Meggy with the Western Spaghetti thing and just gave Oneshot Wren the Niles treatment so they could once again make more merch.
My point is, stop saying that Luke and especially Kevin are good at these stories and just drama in general. Its so generic and rushed, coming out nowhere when really the only thing they actually care about are the views, likes, profits and publicity for GLITCH. Their first two shows are just short, unoriginal spinoffs of two female OCs from SMG4. Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus are successful because they're original, take their time with story development in ways that are unique, and aren't just fanservice for SMG4 fans since they're made by people other than Luke and Kevin.
We don't know enough about the Gaslight District yet to comment, but I imagine that the guy who makes it will still be way better at storytelling than either of those two brothers.
