    Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris is my all time number one favourite song. I was four years old when I first sung it at school and I still love it.

    No matter what has come out since, Rolf Harris was a genius entertainer, musician, painter and comedian and his work should remain shown forever.
    I don't agree with abuse in any way, but I grew up watching this man on TV and listening on radio and his albums and singing and laughing along to it all. He is a part of my childhood and his performances brought me joy, they still do and they always will.

    • @elseworlds5

      And remember there may still be details to emerge ... showing he was innocent of all charges.
      We know now, for example, that the charge of assaulting a seven-year old at a community centre near Portsmouth was completely false as he’d never been to the location or even met the now-deceased complainant, and her claim was simply a scam fabricated for the money and attention. The charge was overturned in 2017 as even her stepfather said he’d no memory of Harris visiting the area and he would never have let her go to the centre unattended in any case.
      It’d take a lot of time to go into the other cases but I’ll just say here that you can’t t trust in the competence of any jury who found Rolf guilty of assaulting a person whom he’d never met, at a concert he’d never given, at a location he’d never visited ... and it would be interesting to know how that jury was selected. Of course, at Rolf’s second and third trials his defence team was far more capable and he was found not guilty of all the charges, which were brought by more folks who wanted to cash in!

    • @elseworlds5
      @elseworlds5 3 года назад +4

      @@Pianosnail12 Just go and read up the facts. “Rolf Harris is innocent” is a well-informed site to go to for all the details on the trial which most folks can’t be bothered to find out about. Or do you prefer not to read anything which doesn’t agree with your views?

    • @elseworlds5
      @elseworlds5 3 года назад +3

      @@Pianosnail12 LOL, no bias at all I assure you .. except a bias towards the actual facts. And although you’re making a great deal of the further charges brought against Rolf in two later trials, you appear to be wilfully ignoring that he was found “not guilty” on all those counts! 😀. This was because Rolf had a far more effective defence team for those later trials than he’d had for the first trial (during which the defence counsel had had to step down due to illness, leaving a less experienced subordinate to handle the case as best he could) who showed the ludicrous nature of the claims! Anyway, for goodness sake go and do some more research.

Remember back in 1965 watching the Rolf Harris show,loved Two Little Boys one of the first singles that I ever bought.Then his fabulous genius as an artist in Rolf Harris cartoon time and of course loved Animal Hospital, like Rolf I love animals.

    I'm sorry but I can't convince myself of his guilt. I'm not saying he's innocent but when the law says 'beyond all reasonable doubt' surely the jury deliberating for six whole days is enough to raise a question in itself

      Hi Angie, Thanks for the comment. I appreciate you viewing this case with an open mind.
      As someone who may not be in the know about the Rolf Harris case, I would urge you to look into this case in more depth. It is surprising how much the public have been influenced by the media.
      If you delve further, I can assure you there is nothing that you will find that proves Rolf's guilt. In fact, you will find the reverse.
      This was a total travesty of justice in mine and many others view.

      @@supportjusticeforrolfharri8379 ok to be honest with you I only put in my comment 'I'm not saying he's innocent' because I couldn't be bothered with any backlash that may have came if I'd said different. However the truth is I don't believe he is guilty I don't know if he was maybe overly affectionate or something like that but I've just always had huge doubts and I fully expected him to be aquitted especially when the deliberations went on as long as they did. I've seen juries on murder trials come back after a day yet it took them six whole days. To me that raises questions that need answering

      @@angiemetcalfe7210 Totally understand! The media (and social media trolls) have made it almost impossible for people to express their true feelings for fear of being labelled negatively.
      Please be assured that this RUclips channel is a safe place where constructive discussion and debate on the Rolf Harris case is encouraged. I will not tolerate anyone on this page being attacked or insulted for their views and anyone who does so will be blocked and their comments removed.
      Sadly, the media have portrayed Rolf inaccurately repeatedly. They have made a lot of money from doing this and have been able to get away with it time and time again simply because they know people are too naive and too gullible to look passed sensationalized headlines.
      A classic example is the "Rolf walks into a school and waves at children". It was on every news channel in the UK. What they forget to tell you is that didn't actually happen at all. Rolf lives within walking distance of that school and was actually talking to a wood cutter (being an artist himself) who was sculpting a tree OUTSIDE of the school.
      Another example is Rolf being heckled by people outside a Screw Fix store. According to the story, he was verbally insulted as he walked in and out. Again, the story was false. In point of fact someone took a photo and sent it to the media. The heckling was an invented story.
      As for the charges, they were ludicrous. I can't even begin to imagine how the case ever got to court. I can only assume that Rolf was used as bait because they didn't manage to prosecute Jimmy Savile.
      You can find more information on our sister website (link below). It's very interesting the lies that have been told about Rolf and the amount of people that believe those lies is astounding.
