Same here the food we’re getting for our goats chickens turkeys and dogs are not good. I hate paying a high price for junk. In New Mexico it’s horrible the prices and hay is crap chicken food is bad not laying eggs turkeys food same thing I buy everything separately and mix it myself. Now hay it’s just bad all of it alpha Timothy and all the rest bad were spending way over 1,000.00 a month that’s not counting there minerals vitamins and treats and people are dumping them. Won’t pay the price for babies. This is horrible plus there getting sick for the food I have Nigerian goats with high butter fat the all have high stars but this year I’m not sure how they will test this year if it’s low I know it’s the food I just found your channel the other day like it
I have considered buying separate ingredients and mixing it as well. You are so right it’s sad that we can’t get quality food for the money we pay for it. We are also considering finding a local place to purchase from. We actually had a bag of chicken feed that was a mix of alpha pellets and layer pellets. We should be able to purchase food for a decent price that is healthy for our pets to eat. Thank you for following our channel. We are excited to see what the future brings and we just want to share our experience good or bad. We have so many plans from additional animals, pens, and clean up.
