the guy who came in with the half and half haori was the guy from the beginning you are correct! in the last 7 episodes you'll get to know who they are and a bit more of the structure of the demon slayer stuff, very exciting

Why are u guys surprised that the sister didn't die after he sliced her into half.....you guys realise that there are only 4 things that can kill a demon 1- muzan himself since he is the demon king 2- the sword of demon slayers 3- sunlight 4- shinobu's poison/wisteria
5- if they are heavily injured that they dont even have an ounch of energy to regenerate , and if then they hit themselves , then they can kill themselves .

In Tanjiro's memory, his mother explains to child-Tanjiro that, since their family literally works with fire, each new year's day they perform a kagura ( = "sacred dance") to the Hinokami (= "spirit/god of fire") [everything else about this is a spoiler, at this point, so you will have to wait for more.] On a wider, wider scope, this show always does two things: First, it foreshadows what's about to happen (e.g.: Shinobu's explaining to Zenitsu the "whole life appears before your eyes when you're about to die" thing, for example, before showing Tanjiro's memories as a stained glass and then going to the memory of the sacred dance). Second, it explains things, after they happened, with a flashback (ass with the demons' mortal life) or with a normal exposition (the rescue squad saying out loud that everyone has been saved... as Zenitsu had "dreamed about")
No , the show didnt tell anything , Only tanjiro and his mom told us about tanjiro's father . He could be a batman of this universe , holding two identity , hiding himself as a demon slayer from his family . thats why he is so frail ,cuz he is up in the night . let people theorise . I have seen that after JJK ,demon slayer fans spoil everything , and they dont let people theorise anything and then claims that it is a simple story .

The person Muzan feared is not Tanjiro's father. The earrings have been passed down through generations, so it is possible that the person Muzan feared was one of Tanjiro's ancestors, but it is not Tanjiro's father because that person lived hundreds of years ago. I hope this helps. 🤗
