Hispanic parents pull kids out of school in fear of deportation

  • Some in the Hispanic and Latin communities are living in fear as President Trump's mass deportation plan takes shape.
    Axios reported in 2021 that Arkansas had about 60,000 undocumented people living and working in the state.
    KATV had a conversation with an American citizen who has Hispanic immigrant parents. He agreed to talk with us if we didn't show his identity. He tells us - parents in his community are taking their kids out of school in Arkansas because of the fear that they'll be deported.
    We're also told they fear that legal citizens might be deported as well.
