Michael... thank you for going through the work of creating all of these videos for people to see, although I need to correct you on your stapling technique. Do not start stapling closest to you working your way away from yourself. Start away from you and work your way towards yourself. This is why: your way you cover up your approximation distance with the stapler itself, or you have to keep removing the stapler to regain a visual to remeasure your stapling distance. My way is to start away for yourself work your way toward yourself, this way there is nothing blocking your vision allowing you to quickly and correctly approximating the tissue. I've corrected many tech, nurses, assistants and doctors with this, please do the same.

I just tried out the skin stapler I bought. Pretty cool, doesn't really hurt. I didn't do it on an actual cut though

Does there need to be some sort of local anesthetic administered before you use the Staple Gun, like lidocaine/bupivacaine?

They can yes. I opted to not use any numbing agent when I had staples put in my head, but it was an option for me.

@@AkilJacob No you don't feel any pain at all. It's only some itching here and there, for the next couple of days, because the skin heals but that's it. PS It doesn't itch no where near as it ddoes after a mosquito bite. You can get rid of the itching, with the proper ointment. The best ointment in such cases and as as an antibiotic and healing and all in one ointment, is a beeswax/Johns Wort Oil, and some other hernbs like Arnica and calentula in the mix. The best one I've used, that works wonders and covers from burns to simple itch with imidate and maximum results (literally I've never seen such a great medicine) is the Ointment with the green cup, of the company called Bioaroma Crete. They ship worldwide If I'm not mistaken.
