LIVE WELL PRO TIP---I seen them freeze like 3 2 liter bottles of water and put them in an ice chest for hot days then they would throw one in the live well every few hours or so 👍 LOVE THE SET UP DUDE !! I bought mine march 2021 BLACK all i've doner so far is upgrade the dash graph I put the 4'' up front .. I didn't know there was extra wiring under that panel ..

nice job my brother has the same boat we extended the deck a little the deck a little bit farther the same as your and made a rod locker in the center hatch.
Is there any way to mount a versa track system on these boats? This would be my number one selection as my first boat but they don't come with any mounting system like the Targa V-18 does.
Nice mods, I got last year's Classic XL in black w the 50. Not one bit of remorse the boat fish's great. I put the same exact onboard charger on mine, the only other thing's I did was put on a Micro Power Pole, a higher butt seat in the bow, and a Humminbird Helix 10 on the console. The only thing I'll do in the future is replace the trolling motor with one w I Pilot that can link to my Humminbird.
I’ve looked into the micro power pole myself I want to get spot lock on trolling motor first to see if I will still feel the need for power pole or not.
@@BredForBass Yeah I'll have to see if spot lock makes the anchor not so necessary but I think I'll still want to have it. If you do get the Micro do NOT get the clamp, bolt it on. I tried the clamp and while it fits on the transom the piston of the motor hits it when you turn and prevents it from turning. Plus the torque it takes loosened it up way too much for my liking. It will be a while until I can upgrade the trolling motor anyway so the anchor is pretty clutch for now.
@@BredForBass Oh yeah I put a Bob's Machine Stabilizer plate on the motor and it works amazing I'd recommend one. It get's on plane at super low speed handles better and rides better.
No it does not and I’ve had it in really hard rain.Maybe if the boat were to spear a wave and you had a bunch of water at one time it could possibly but as far as rain your good.
Yes I would get some G juice and maybe a cheap battery bubbler to put in to help out though.It will hold 5 bass but I don’t know if you had 25lb bag if they could fit but a 12-14lb bag you would be ok

I just bought this boat and i was wondering about the rod tamer you have in front of the livewell. Do you leave your rod tips sitting off to the side like that during the day while driving the boat around? And i guess just how well does it work bc im torn on where to install mine at
Not sure what your talking about with stabilizer bar.The motor toater bar? If that’s what your talking about then yes it came with one.Let me know if your talking about something else.

Don’t remember the size exactly I just used stainless drywall screws they go right into it.As far the holders they are made by rapala just type in rapala tool holder in Google they will pop up
is that really a DOWCO cover, even dowco has told me they don't make one for the classic xl and bass pro ordered a brand "lakota" that doesn't quite fit right for mine. i may be making another trip to bass pro if it is. other than that i like your mods.

On your extendable rod holder get a nice peice of wood or square aluminum stock just larger than the recessed side cut it mount it in and screw the wood to the deck . and paint to match. screw into gun well or deck no cutting on the boat
No I don’t I’m sorry one thing I regret is now doing better step by step process when doing my mods.Unfortunately I didn’t start doing RUclips till I was basically done with it all.
I have irritable bowel syndrome as well it is stopped me from having a boat for years almost 15 years until I found a one-man pop-up tent you can stay in straight up in it and put a 3 gallon or 5 gallon bucket inside of it with the liner and have your toilet paper hooked to the handle so it’s right there in front of you. You can do your business no problem nobody can see you and you’re on yourBoat. And then when you’re done you just fold up the tent really easy stoe everything away
They've been having a lot of problems with the lower units on them 50s my next door neighbor got one they had less than one hour on it and the lower unit went out and yes it was full of oil it's not the first boat we've ever owned and if you don't believe it check out my Excel boat
No it comes with a 40-50 does 33mph with my partner and I we both big ass guys well over the 555lb person limit lol I heard normal size people get 36-37mph with the 50

I fish in a small Bass Club. Is the livewell large enough for 5 bass to survive in? The deck ext. makes it much safer, good job.

Yes I put my spinning rods over there and just let the tips hang off it does fine.
Did the boat come with the transom saver stabilizer bar? I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and don't remember seeing that as on option on my order sheet.

It’s blue I had to paint it.If you do the same make sure to use a spray paint for plastic I didn’t and it’s flaking off already

The highest recommended for that boat is 50 and it does the job perfect. I weigh about 220, if it's just me and my gear I can cruise around 37.
