Enshrouded is really one of the best, most entertaining and well-rounded games I have ever played. I really enjoy this game and am glad to see that the devs are doing their best to improve the game based on our feedback.
I am very Excited for this Roadmap, I have been loving this game so much I keep finding my self just coming back to it consonantly. LOL I just hope the weather system won't be like Icarus and Nightingale were we take damage from it LOL! Great Video!
@Chiselchip it just feels like a perfect sofa and a blanket kind of game as you build your base. Steam deck became pretty much 60 to 70% of how I play my games
might be part of enemy patrols? Not sure, but I know that one is highly requested to be an optional feature, so they will probably add it in the future
Sounds cool, as long as they don't start breaking the game. They "fixed" the ladder climbing problem, where two people climbing a ladder would break it... but now a lot of ladders are just completely broken; thank goodness for double jump. I've got to figure out making a proper roof before they add weather; I'm sure the one I have now will leak terribly, lol Am also hoping that some of the more "aggressive" stuff, is a choice, not forced on me; I love Enshrouded as it is now, if it becomes a game where I'm having to fight something from log in to log out, I won't be playing it.
The updates would be great... but this is a "map" without a road... should have phases or plans on whats coming first. Additionally, They really need to have rare, hard to find loot, that can't be obtained by just camping your altar next to a gold chest.
Cool, any ETA on this? Cant count how many companies put this kind of stuff out and then follow up 3 years later with "there was no timeline, its just what we wanted to implement". Great they give a storyboard of pictures, but, proof is in the pudding.
They said there would be an update with some stuff in the next month, and I'm guessing they'll be fairly quick on the rest based on their history and updates so far
In my opinion definitely valheim and enshrouded! Hard to tell which of the two though as they are both great in their own unique ways. Not a big fan of Nightingale though and haven't tried icyrus much
I mean with it's dayz styled character system you already have portals to another system the server window load up what you want to bring then accept invite from a friend
We need companions even if it's a one premade person per class type or use capcoms maincpawn system where you make a unique ally for yourself oh and add races or a versatile enough character creator that i can add tusks and green skin and be an orc or lower my height and have a sticky build boom dwarf
I don't like the idea of workshops using magic chests... what if you get the ability to make planks and it churns through all your wood? If they do this, I hope they make it like a switch, so you can tell it not to pull from the chests.
It's a wishlist, not a road map. "A plan without a schedule is just a wish." It's just a JPG of the suggestions list titles. While I like a lot of the implications because I can read into them all my hopes and dreams, some pretty glaring stuff is nowhere to be seen (cough singleplayer pause cough). and it's completely lacking in any substantive detail. 'Water'. There is already 'water' in the game. What do they mean by 'water'? We don't know. Same with 'weather'. We have that already. It's either sunny, or partly cloudy. Will it be rain? Snow? Wind? Will it huff and puff and blow my house down, or just make it hard to see? Let's see how fast and how well they can roll this stuff out.
Hopefully the "instanced dungeons" introduces instanced enemies and loot for co-op play. Borderlands 3 did this the best and made co-op with vastly differently leveled players a blast because every player would fight enemies of their own level and gather loot appropriate for their own level. No more new players getting absolutely pulverized by too-strong enemies, no more fighting over how to share the limited loot. It's my biggest "bleh" with co-op survival RPGs like this where it often feels really awkward bringing in players with characters of a very different level than your own Anyway, excited about a lot of the other potential updates too. Hopefully some of the features are optional, at least for private solo play. One thing I loooooove about this game is that if I want to venture out and do a bunch of quests - no problem, BUT if I want to stay in my base for like 8 days straight and just build new additions, remodel my house, or farm all day long - also no problem. Last time I ventured out was just because I didn't yet have access to the materials for an upgrade I wanted to do, so I went and did a few more quests, got all the upgrades I needed, and went back to building out my dream villa lol
Soooo excited for these updates! This game just keeps getting better :)
Thanks for the video! It will be wonderful to use the furniture, lol

WATER! Let's go! The absence of water is my only real complaint with the game at present. Enshrouded is amazing. Thanks for posting this.
yah it'll be turning into the ultimate survival building game soon haha!
I've never played a better early access game. And on top of that, they're listening to the community and adding features people want? I'm so excited.
I'd love if you could have enemy raids so their would be a reason to build fortified bases and such. And that you could assign town guards and such.
This game made me buy a 1.600€ laptop while I just wanted a normal laptop!!😂 Seeing what is coming to this game makes me believe I did the right thing
Haha yah It's such an amazing game for sure!!
I hope they add round building objects so we can make round houses without square blocks along with the round windows
Everything that I've upvoted on their suggestion page is on that roadmap - except difficulty settings. Here's hoping that'll be added anyway later on.
it probably will!! I'm just super happy that most of it is actually on there!
If you want the game to be more difficult all you have to do is have low level weapons and don't use skil points to level up your health
First update is coming this month!!!
water
fishing!!!
Patience is a virtue and I ain't a virtuous man lol!
😄

Steam deck support is most important for me
Heck yah! I remember you asking about that a while ago, so happy you'll be able to play it there!
@Chiselchip it just feels like a perfect sofa and a blanket kind of game as you build your base. Steam deck became pretty much 60 to 70% of how I play my games
If I could get a farmer to harvest would be dope!
Excited for a lot of these to be in the game, would've loved to see something about the perk tree being remodeled/enhanced though.
I Love all the New changes that will be added 🤩 I can't wait
So exciting!
Excited!! 🤩
If they do all of this, it will be the best survival game for me. It feels a bit ambiguous but it would be amazing if they managed to do everything.
I don't see base raids on that list. Need a reason to make all these cool bases and defenses.
might be part of enemy patrols? Not sure, but I know that one is highly requested to be an optional feature, so they will probably add it in the future
As long as they don't add 1 of these every 1-2 years like valheim it should be awesome!
Haha right? 😂 at least I’m always happy with Valheim quality though but definitely a long wait
They need to allow for more rotation of building pcs not just 90 degrees. Other than that the building is insanely good.

If they will implement this. I will call this game The Gamers Game

Which do you think is best .. Valhiam, Icyrus, Nightingale or Enshrouded for building? I just bought, Enshrouded.. I'm excited to give it a go!
In my opinion definitely valheim and enshrouded! Hard to tell which of the two though as they are both great in their own unique ways. Not a big fan of Nightingale though and haven't tried icyrus much
Can you link the page where we can vote?
Sure! Here it is enshrouded.featureupvote.com/
Cant wait how Enshrouded can grow. Sad to see that Combat still is mid... wish they had re-work abilities, animations and stagger system
Lvl cap increase
vanity system
bad (skins $1 - $??)
That's not necessarily what they mean..I was thinking more like a transmogrify system ;)

I am terrified for my social life because once this stuff gets added, its game over for me! 🤣
😂
Very exciting new features, and even in early access it is more finished than a lot of AAA games (and even AAAA GAMES 😂)
It’s definitely a well polished game! I’ve been very happy so far!

Yah that's a good point! or at least be able to select how many planks you want and then have it stop crafting them
*Bounces with excitement!* This is awesome!
🎉😄
Sounds like a ton of fun to come! 😊
SO EXCITED
Couldn't be more excited for these updates. Let's Goooooo FLAMEBORN!!

Lovely stuff on that list!

Sadly I haven't played this game since 2 weeks after release. I might come back and try these updates. If they ever come.

Is it coming to console or not?
it probably will at some point!
