Good video. Had to laugh to myself, with the title of the video. Even though I know what you meant, about short day onions, our days are so short now. Close to 8:00 A.M. before getting light and dark by 4:30 in the evening, so thats a short day. Still another month before it starts going the other way. Will attempt to catch you tomorrow evening. You and your family have a very blossed Thanksgiving. As bad as it looks sometimes, we are so blossed. Looking forward to major improvements over the next four years.
Looks nice Joey. They ought to do well for you. That's a nice 10 pointer you have on camera. You might have to come out of retirement on hunting for him. Hope y'all have a great and blessed Thanksgiving.
Joey a trick I learned a long time ago was to wet a fabric softener sheet and wash the front of my truck to remove the bugs it takes them right off and won’t hurt the paint use after you wash then use them on the front where the bugs are rinse it off then rewash that part just get any residual from the fabric softener off and that’s it works great hope this helps you out the next time
I used to hunt a lot . Haven’t in years but Elliott and Sammy does. Sammy is hunting that 11pt . I told him it he takes that for his first deer that’s a pretty high bar to beat. Lol
I used to grow a lot of these onions. The secret to getting them to "size up" is to put just a sprinkling of fertilizer every week to 10 days. They have a very shallow root system.

Thanks Bart You to
Looks like a lot of onions Joey. How do you store them after digging? I've never had good luck keeping / storing onions.
Looks good Joey. Still haven’t gotten my onions in the ground yet, might be too late now but I’ll see if I can get to it this week.
I don’t think it is.
Can't beat growing your own food. Good looking deer. All the best 🇬🇧.
Thanks JPeel

Thanks Joey I definitely will. I really don’t like using steel wool .
Good looking onion slips. Tell Sammy he needs to get that buck.
He trying. Closes to hunting time he’s came out is 6:15 pm
We planted several kinds of garlic and onions this fall. Probably more than we've ever planted. Good luck with them!
I’m looking forward to giving them my best effort.
Believe I would have went at least 3 wide on that bed, but then you've got a lot more room than I do.😅 Jdnut58 ❤
I have high hopes of big bulbs. Lol 😂
👍

Nice buck at the end! Do y’all hunt any? I haven’t seen any in the videos before.

@ good luck to him!
I see you are going to have to come out of hunting retirement as you mentioned. Keep the deer pics and maybe a hunting story one day.
Hopefully it will be a Sammy story. Lol
