TA baytown tx did that to me. went to get a trailer inspection they sprayed some lubricant on the seals and said was leaking, little that they know i just had all 4 replaced seals replaced 4 days before, i showed them the receipts and they goes ohhh maybe the shop didnt clean it good, so they cleaned what ever they sprayed and pass it
If I ever go to landstar and you having your own shop now, I'd do my 120 day inspections at that dealer you mentioned and any repairs needed I'd go to you... do you plan to see about getting your shop as an approved landstar inspection site?

Hey Ryan very informative information you keep putting out man I appreciate your your effort to give out some good information for people think about coming to landstar just a quick question do you have to let them know that you're doing an inspection for landstar is that different from a regular annual inspection
Are you still at Landstar? Is it easy or really hard to average $2 or more to the truck? Im currently at Greatwide but their version of Landstar self dispatch is a complete joke and all really low paying DAT board loads.

Hey Ryan quick question...so on 🇨🇦 loads do you need any special permits or paperwork other than your passport? We just leased with Landstar and i don’t remember what they said about that on orientation but saw a few loads that looked good and were coming from there! 🤔🤔🤔 have they played well for you? Also you’re videos are powerful man! We really look up to you and follow your advice. Just wanted to say thank you for your time and knowledge we really appreciate you!
Hi, thanks for the comment and compliments! If you have a passport and your cab card (truck registration) has weights for all the Canadian provinces, you should be good. Canadian border agents can also check your criminal record from the USA as well, if you have had any serious offenses, or even DUI's, they can deny you entry, i have heard of that being an issue for some, but if you have a clean record you should be good. If you are going into Canadian, I would try to get a pretty rate, or ask the agent to give you more at 100%, because chances are you will be coming back across to the USA empty. You will also have to work with the agent to get your ACE e-manifest submitted and accepted before you go to the border, but its not too big of a deal. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

I want to join Landstar but I’m looking for trucks currently and don’t have one as of yet. I don’t want to buy a truck, then apply to Landstar only to get denied coming on board...I would be stuck with a truck at that point. Can you give me some advice, thanks.
great information/ content. wow your story about T.A. is crazy. i cant believe that bullshit they pulled. your better man then i am cause i would have lost my mind and went into crazy black man mode on him. how could steal and lie to an honest hard working man that is trying to make a buck the right way and take care of his family. that guy basically took food out of your families month for greed. karma is very real and he will be payed in full for his misleading in life. as will i for mine.

the list of approved shops is not kept up to date. make sure you call in advance. thanks

You pay for the first one, about $50. Later on, if you work for Landstar and you do it on time, Landstar will pay for it!

Did Schneider charge you a security deposit to transfer your truck to Landstar please?
No, not for me, it depends on your relationship with them. Such as your payment history. But they do charged me $300 changing service fee.
