Level 3 candidates: follow Nathan approach. I nailed it after a few failed attempts, thanks to the discipline of Nathan study plan. Level 3 requires particular dedication and a focus to essays questions. If you remain sticky to Chalk and Board methods, you will pass it.

First time taker: I performed poorly than expected, and I am dead sure on the constructed response portion, most of my answers were correct (I kinda knew in my bones/read the material in and out) based on first instinct, but maybe they did not like how I framed the answer. I hope it is not all about choosing their preferred words and forming sentences that only CFA institute prefers and not about getting the actual answer correct. Mighty surprised with the result!

Truly sorry to hear about this. If you failed, it was not due to something trivial like choosing preferred words and forming specific sentences. Unfortunately it meant that too many of your actual answers and calculations did not measure up to the minimum passing standards for a few too many questions. If interested, let's put a winning plan together for you next time: chalkandboard.org

whats ur performance relative to mps

Between 50 and 70 mostly, closer to 50, with one section below 50 that had 10-15% weight. I think I may have scored nothing on written section, while my responses were to the point and succinct- baffling!

would you recommend jumping into questions straight away or going into material reading?

It's always a good idea to review the actual material again, to shore up weak areas, to reinforce things you understood on exam day but may not have retained in your long-term memory, and to clarify misunderstandings. Good luck in your studies!

This is my 3rd time failing and I’m really surprised at my result because I came out of the exam thinking that I did very well. Unfortunately my final results showed that I only scored above 50% in two sections so clearly there is something I’m doing wrong.
My dilemma is i already failed 3 times and there’s 6 maximum attempts. There is a risk that August is not enough time for me. If I choose to take in Feb 2025 I’ll have more study time but I will be subject to the new exam changes. What should I do?

I was very surprised I failed. Based on the scorecard in this second attempt I only had one subject under 50%, just one, how can this be a fail?
