Happy 4th of July! As we get ready for some BBQ fun, I want to talk about an important topic: well yields. If you're buying a home with a well and septic system, always test the water quality and quantity. I recently inspected a well where a wasp nest was found inside, leading to water contamination and mechanical issues. Testing revealed a low yield of 0.3 gallons per minute, requiring a new well.
