Thanks, well, that’s indeed more of an artistic choice. Considering this was my first video ever, and I begin it with some historical pictures, it was probably not the best choice. At least I stopped that nonsense directly after that :)

@@godbye753 that kit is from Trumpeter. Was a pleasure to build. Unfortunately I decided later to record the build process, that’s why the ship building part is missing (won’t happen again :D)

A great piece of modelling,but the rock formations I don’t get,the hood and bismarck fought in the Denmark straight in open sea,there wasn’t any need to add that
I appreciate the planning, the work, the time, the attention to detail.
It's so sad all that effort recreates a battle that never, ever took place in the age of battleships.
It's the perfect World of Warships diorama. Massive ships blasting away at ludicrous range and scooting to cover behind obstacles.
And what's that exploding in between ships? A submarine? Sure, why not. Battleships blew up submarines all the time.
You’re absolutely right about what you say here. Starting this somehow „historical“ was and is nonsense. I would call this a new RUclipsr mistakes, but I apologize to everybody like you or everybody that stubbles across this in the future: that is nowhere historic correct.
Next you should expand it with the Prinz Eugen and Prince of Whales

wow this is what i wanted to see a diorama that there is a bismarck wich is my favorite and hms hood too how do i get that km or kriegsmarine bismark model though
The bismarck i'am using here is the one from Revell in 1/700 scale (www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-05098-battleship-bismarck--102356). I also added some after market details from Eduardo. The Bismarck is also available in different scales like 1/350 (or even more bigger?). I personally also like the Bismarck in 1/700 from Meng (which wasn't available in my location when i bought the one from Revell).

Richtig toll wie du das da bastelst. Ich habe immer recht wenig Geduld dafür aber ich möchte sowas auch mal machen. Momentan spiele ich World of Warships und ich finde solche täuschend echten Dioramas mit Kriegsschiffen immer super interessant. Könntet ihr vielleicht mal ein Diorama bauen, wo ein Zerstörer Torpedos auf ein anderes Schiff abfeuert? Das fände ich auch sehr cool. Ist ja aber auch kosten- und zeitaufwändig und so ein Diorama von euch ist sicher 200€ Wert, allein wegen der Mühe und Zeitinvestition. Richtig toll gemacht.😃👍🏻
Hey, vielen lieben Dank. Freut mich, dass es dir gefällt. World of Warships war definitiv eine Inspiration für mich. Aktuell habe ich noch kein weiteres Material für ein Schiffsdiorama gekauft, da ich eher aus der Flugzeugecke komme. Neben dem aktuellen Dioramabau wird aber zunächst ein Diorama mit einem Leopard Panzer und einigen deutschen Soldaten folgen, irgendwo im Wald. Was Schiffe angeht so könnte ich mir in der Tat vorstellen, etwas ähnliches zu bauen wie du es vorschlägst. Allerdings ein U-Boot welches auf ein Schiff ein Torpedo abfeuert während dieses bereits explodiert. Mit epoxidharz diesmal. Der Preis ist von so einem Diorama ist immer relativ, er richtet sich schlichtweg nach der Bekanntheit des Künstlers (falls man das hier Kunst nennen darf, naja Kunst in 3d sozusagen). In der Schweiz gibt es Modellbauer, die verlaufen sowas gerne für mehrere tausend Euro. Aber die haben ein Namen. Ich kleiner Wicht hingegen musste dieses Diorama hier verkaufen, weil es einfach zu gross war und nirgends hinpasst (ausserdem muss ich Platz für weitere Projekte für diesen Channel schaffen). Für 100 CHF (knapp 90€). Das deckt nichtmal die Materialkosten, die in der Tat irgendwo bei 200€ liegen (Schweiz ist teuer…), geschweige denn die Arbeitskosten (von rund 3 Monaten). Aber so ist das eben, ich mache das im Prinzip ja nicht für Geld und hätte ich den Platz, hätte ich es nie dafür abgegeben.
@@GeneralPelleScaleModels schade, dass du es verkaufen musstest und noch Verlust gemacht hast. Aber ich denke, du könntest sowas locker nochmal so toll hinbekommen.
What is DKM?
DKM stands for Deutsche Kriegsmarine (German War Navy). It was the offical name of the german navy from 1935 to 1945. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kriegsmarine
hms hood was the only ship of her class and bismark was the biggest battleship in the german navy
I think you put the mainmast on the Bismarck backwards. Check it .

@@ghost_trooper3249 Hehe, schon okay, das kauft keiner für diesen Preis, fürchte ich. Ich denke, dafür müsste man schon ein "bekannter Modeller" sein, wie Herr Wyss zum Beispiel (schau dir mal seine Preise an, wobei er natürlich ein viel höheres Level hat als ich). Daher, würde ich mehr sehr über ein Abo freuen ;)
