This is an easy circular winter hike on groomed snow (at least while the ski resort is open mid Dec to early March), 7.2 km with 230m elevation up & down.
We did this hike on 18 March 2023. There was a big snow storm about a week before.

Hi Tonya! How lovely, ambitious and novel of you to take us on a Spring hike! I used to love Spring skiing because even though I was a St. Anton certified ski mountain master, I wasn't really that so very good and the corn snow allowed me to ski slopes that would have been too too challenging. I like spring skiing too! Warm weather and soft snow. If I can't have powder, slushy snow is much better than ice.

Are you wearing hiking sneakers or boots? We’re headed to Murren March 14-18, and I’m not sure whether to bring snow boots and hiking sneaks or snow boots and Blundstones with non-slip grips….
