  • January 2016 - we are still working on our HEXA project and as we progress, we decided to share a bit for now.
    Part 1: the 45 minutes of the Tarot FY690S.
    ===================================
    Unfortunately it didn't last much longer as the flight controller decided to turn of the motors while flying! More details on
    that will be shared in the next part as we take a closer look on the Tarot ZYX-M which we used.
    We did the maiden flight and some testing as we could.

    Awesome build..I was thinking about waiting on the foldable landing gear but after seeing that its just to awesome! How do you like the multistar batteries? I have the same motors on the way and I bought some tattu 5200's but the tattu 10aH is about 200 usd vs the multistar at 100. I dont mind spending the 200 bucks but if I can get 2 instead of just one that'd be great lol. My current/power requirements may be different than yours and Ill have to test it, as Im going to be spinning 15-17 in props and lifting probably around 3-5kg on a 850. But quality-wise would you recommend the multistar batteries?

    • @JustFPV-net
      @JustFPV-net  6 лет назад

      Hi David,
      I honestly cant tell if the Multistars are that great, but I fly the smaller ones a lot. however, I think its the best you go figure for your requirements. It met up to mine but I didn't get that far :D ... But we'll see on that later/next year :) So, for my wings I cant complain (3s3000 and 3s5200 10c)

    Hi, can i use "Sunnysky X4108S 380kv" or "SUNNYSKY V3508 380 kv" motors with FY690s frame? If yes, which one is better with 1355 props?

    • @JustFPV-net

      First of all: i'd say YES you can. But "which motor is better?" depends on the stats of the motor ... have a look at sunnysky's web page and check which motor sucks the least Amps which giving the most Thrust with 1355 props.

    Hi! Ich hab da mal zwei Fragen: Zum einen hab ich die Teile auf banggood ausgesucht, schon bevor ich von diesem Projekt gehört habe und würde gerne mal wissen ob das ganze denn Power- und Effizienzmäßig klar geht? Und ich habe ein SPRacing FC Board, dass ich gerne verbauen würde. Was sind denn Unterschiede bzw. Pro und Con gegenüber so einem größeren Autopiloten? Gerade läuft Betaflight, vielleicht installiere ich auch iNav, um es mal auszuprobieren. Meinungen? :D

    • @JustFPV-net
      @JustFPV-net  5 лет назад +1

      Falls Du einen Hexa fliegen und nicht mit dem Autopiloten pokern möchtest, dann nimm eine naza oder iNav! Wenn der runter kommt, kostet das immer n Sack Geld ;-)
      Ich hab den Autopiloten hier, weil alles dabei ist und ich mich darauf verlassen möchte.
      Ob betaflight das richtige für so einen Hexa ist, weiß ich allerdings nicht. Gefühlt würde ich in der Größe immer etwas teureres als Autopilot nehmen.

    • @mircoheitmann
      @mircoheitmann 5 лет назад +1

      @@JustFPV-net Alles klar! Ich habe bisher nur Erfahrung was Miniquads angeht (wie man wahrscheinlich merkt). Danke für die Antwort :)

    • @mircoheitmann
      @mircoheitmann 5 лет назад

      Ah ja, eine Sache noch. Wäre die neue Version vom ZYX System zu empfehlen oder sollte ich eher in die Richtung Naza gehen? Bzw. gibt's da überhaupt große Unterschiede? Ich würde nämlich vom Autopiloten wahrscheinlich nur RTH als Failsafe benutzen, reicht für sowas vielleicht ein "standard" FC mit iNav drauf?

    • @JustFPV-net
      @JustFPV-net  5 лет назад

      Je nachdem, was Du im Budget hast oder machen möchtest - beide sind gut, ich vermute aber die Nasa ist ausgereifter als das ZYX-System. Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass das ZYX nicht gut ist. Es ist günstiger und weniger verbreitet - das ist alles. iNav kann sicher auch den Hexa fliegen. Habe ich aber noch nicht probiert und erst mal muss ich die ZYX wieder flott machen. ... und einen defekten ESC finden.
      Vielleicht möchtest Du aber Motoren mit 450-600kv nehmen anstatt. Das hier ist als Lastentier gedacht gewesen. Power hat er, aber schnell ist er nicht! Dafür ökonomisch im Verbrauch :)

    • @mircoheitmann
      @mircoheitmann 5 лет назад

      @@JustFPV-net Okay, Danke. Also ich wollte für dieses Projekt auch nur Effizienz und gute Power, hier ist mir Speed egal. Ich werd' mir mal einige Vergleiche angucken, um zu schauen ob iNav was taugt. Vom Budget wäre an sich auch ein Naza drin, ich müsste dann halt nur länger sparen.

      @JustFPV-net  8 лет назад

      Hi +john Al
      The problem was the software of the ZYX-M which decided to cut-of the motors. In V1.4 (current Version) this seems to be gone. I will find out, as soon as the FC arrives here. And no ... we only had the hexacopre for 45minutes in the air IN TOTAL! :) Usual flight time is supposed to get a 20min with full load (NEX5, Gimbal etc)

    • @JustFPV-net

      +Wade Stewart yes, it should have! On a hexa setup it should compensate for one motor if it stops working!

    • @JustFPV-net
      @JustFPV-net  6 лет назад +1

      sure, wasn't that hard to figure! I was about to descend and often i do so by lowering the throttle. In this moment I got fairly low and as the ZYX-M figured "low throttle" it interpreted it as "Shutdown the motors" ... and that then exactly happened ... But that was back then. Have a Look at my other video about the ZYX-M and how to prevent this
