    Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m almost positive that on #2 the equation equals -9/2, not 9/2

      3ys late but I don’t think it matters bc area is always positive so for this you just take the absolute value of your answer.

    6:57 - what does "top" and "bottom" mean? And what does it mean when he says "does the top/bottom ever change?". Do you mean the function line or something? I did not understand that part

      Hello Archita. That is a little confusing. We like to say Mr. Bean doesn't know his head from his bottom, so that's probably why that didn't make sense. In this case, you are focusing on the area that is bounded above (top) and below (bottom) by different functions. So if the function above the area changes as you read it from left to right, then you need more than one integral. If the area below changes, then you would also need more than one integral. Every time the "top" or "bottom" of the area changes functions, you will have to create a new integral. Hopefully that helps!
