This is my second trends report, and I want to know: How can I improve these videos to help you with updating your wardrobe? More/less explanation? More/less links? Let me know!
Love love love seeing well thought out content from a well spoken influencer who isn’t just doing a haul encouraging us to run out and spend half a month’s earnings on new stuff. And someone with curves. I noticed that some influencers are tall or rectangle shaped and items that look fantastic on them just do not work the same for a shorter hourglass gal. I was almost wishing I were not hourglass shaped because it’s so easy to give the illusion with clothes but far harder to find things that don’t make my hips look enormous. I too have realised that skinny jeans really emphasised my hips making them look wider than they are. Straight are so much better or even slim. I have bought a pair of bootcut which I love though again I do feel that they look better if you wear heels and I don’t. I would love to see more content on what flatters particular body types. This format was great - I love seeing an example of what is being mentioned Occasional full screen shots would help too as perhaps many of us are watching on our phones so half a screen is a small image. But this was excellent. Have just subscribed ❤
Your feedback is sooo helpful for me! Thank you for taking the time to elucidate what you like and want to see more of. Yes, I'm all about styling the pieces you already own rather than the impractical "haul" videos. I'm glad that's helpful for you. As far as body flattering videos for hourglass shapes like you, here's my playlist called "Flatter Your Curves": ruclips.net/p/PLpseuRD8bptnK2__Cpu285CYtiIuTJHFO Those videos have lots of practical styling solutions. Enjoy! And thank you for your thoughtful comment. 🙏
@@PriskaJordan oh my! Thank you! I have to resist binge watching ! I shall enjoy this treat. I have a couple more questions (which could translate into ideas for videos but I won’t bombard you with them all at once. I’ll watch these since some questions may well be answered here.
Your content is really awesome and I hope more and more people can find your channel, you deserve it! Also, I’m in awe at how good you are at choosing the right colours for you, you’re always popping! Would love to see a video on your journey to getting to know your colours and some handy tips
Thank you so much!! That' the nicest compliment, because it's been a long, long journey to lean into my own aesthetic instead of following the trends. I've been meaning to have a color assessment done by a professional, because there's still a lot of questions I have. But I will say that I started learning my colors when I began listening to my friends & family about what colors they like on me. I keep receiving compliments about purple clothes. You can try asking your loved ones and seeing what the most common responses are. And then checking in with yourself to see if you like yourself in those colors.
I juts subscribed. I’m only half way through this first video, but I love it so much!! I really appreciate all of the examples you are showing. I was watching another RUclipsr who was juts taking and talking and not showing examples. I liked your outfits mixed in with pictures of others. I like that your shape is more “real”! By the way, you look amazing in your outfit. The colours suit you perfectly. I’d say you are a winter!
Wow, this is soo good to hear. Thank you! 🥰 I haven’t had color analysis yet, but when I do, I’ll make a video about it. Maybe I am a winter? We shall see.
I’m thrilled that You embrace colour so many Women seem to shy about experimenting. Somehow We morphed into a fashion world of neutrals . Black and White are Chic but I adore colour too. Yay for lime green and mauve ❤
Like you, I prefer to wear mostly pinks, purples and reds, so I am excited to see them, especially in shades that flatter me. (I'm thinking of getting a cobalt blue piece or two, but I will just thrift them). I love this and other videos of yours.
Seeing those pink jeans on the site, they looked crazy to me, but they are absolute magic on you! This inspired me to get outside my box a little and try on some new styles this s/s, if not just for fun!
I love that, Christine! Yeah, I was feeling unusually bold after a fantastic dinner when I strolled into the shop and tried on those pink jeans. In the daytime, I probably would have talked myself out of it, but I'm so glad I did't. Hopefully you find some pieces that just are surprisingly delightful, too. :)
HA! I’m 66 and am wearing the denim maxi already!! It has a pretty high slit on one side and I think it’s spectacular!!! I’m also wearing a denim shirt tied at the waist, open with a white tank.
Great tips. Thank you. I am a thin heels lover. I will continue wearing. I totally dislike the chunky heels. White on white definitely for me. White look so fresh and classy. Blessings!
It’s my first time visiting your channel. I’ve seen several of these type videos this season. I thought yours was the best. I would encourage you to rinse and repeat. Use this as your template in the future.
Wow thank you!! You’re right about that. This is the second I’ve done, and it’s been wildly popular. This video took me a solid 50 hours of work, so it won’t be my weekly video for now (until I get someone on the payroll), but I will definitely continue this style for the Fall trends video.
@@PriskaJordan I am not surprised at all to hear you put 50 hours in. It looks like it. Congratulations! It’s a big win for your channel. I am very much looking forward to the next one.
Love this trends report style video so much! I'm trying to elevate my wardrobe with more runway inspiration but it's been difficult to find relevant videos - keep up the great work :)
Thank you! 😊 My color palette is mostly saturated jewel tones including pinks, violets, reds, and blues. Hopefully this year, I'll find some emerald colored pieces that I really like.
Anyone who wants to try the wider leg jeans but has thicc thighs and doesn't think the wider legs look great because it makes your thighs look bigger the flared stretch type jeans are really flattering they instantly give you an hour glass shape or the illusion of hope this helps someone I don't have particularly thicc thighs but some of the wide straight legs jeans can make it look like a have big thighs and I find flares or palazzo style jeans or french flare from the hip down instead of the knee down so fits your waist and bottom properly and then flare out from there and cover your whole shoe the flare at the bottom is that wide those are really flattering on most body types too
I LOL'ed at your first comment. I was thinking: "I hope you don't mind my explanatory videos, because that's the norm!" Ha! I'm so glad you're enjoying both styles. :)
Lol I was the same! I didn’t buy white in my house for any member of my family but I caved! Just buy a pre laundry wash and a stain scrubber. Have your Daily whites and the “ only going out whites”.
Thank you, Liane! My blazer is a suit set from Max & Co.'s winter collection and is unfortunately sold out. For the warmer weather, they have similar suits available here: world.maxandco.com/clothing/womens-suit
Hey listennn 😃 please don't stop wearing something because I said so -- or anyone says so. If it's an authentic expression of your personality through your style, it doesn't matter if it's trendy, outdated, or any other word. This video is just guidance to show what IS trendy, so if you want to try something new, you see the other options.
@@PriskaJordanThank you. I am usually late to the game with shoes, because I have a hard time to find comfortable ones. Thank you for your video and advice. It is great to see videos like yours, to at least try to stay semi current. 👍
I dont agree that nude sandals/pumps (heels) are yesterday's trend. Many of the platform/chunky footwear are very foot heavy and ugly. Also, they can make a person's feet look bulky. I think people should wear what suits them.
Oh my gosh! Please excuse my pronunciation. I'm a visual person, and tend to say things phonetically (and incorrectly!) all the time. 😆 😂 But thank you for this guidance. 🙏

Love this video! So much good information. Have you tried Vivaia ballet flats? They are so comfortable! And they’re machine washable!
I haven’t, but I’ve heard great things. I don’t really wear ballet flats, because my feet sweat too much. 🫣 I’m either wearing socks or sandals.
I love how knowledgeable you are and your Indepth explanations. Your outfits are very beautiful and stylish as well
Thank you so much!

Hehe! I love hearing that!!
I loooove cargo pants. I was waiting so long for them to return
Ahhh! I love that! If it fits your style, wear it even when it’s not en Vogue. Do you still have cargos, or are you purchasing again?

Do you have a video on how to style fedoras during spring and summer?
Ooh I don't, but that's a good idea! I can't believe I haven't thought of that before. I'll work on a Short to put out soon for you. :)
@Priska Jordan thank you 😊 can't wait to watch it! I have 3 fedoras and I just feel like I don't know how to style them.

How you keep those hats on your head without flying away with wind? Love hats but they always fly away
I suppose it's my climate. It's not too windy here in Florida. However, if it's windy, I just take it off as I walk to the car.
Like your polene dumpling bag, buy a gray!
