  • This is my design of a 7.9 kg-m (677 in-lb) Vibratory Pile Driver and Extractor, a machine intended to immerse piles into the ground for structural foundation purposes. It is powered by a hydraulic motor and it can produce up to 290 kN of driving force, operating at 1850 rpm. The vibration is produced by the spining of two eccentric shafts synchronized by gears. This video shows the machine assembly and computer analysis tools.
    Design by Efrain Teran, using:
Autodesk Inventor 2012 for modeling, animation, dynamic simulation and rendering.
Adobe Premiere for video editing and Adobe Photoshop for image editing.
This model is currently under construction, you may see some pictures on the following links:

Sure, I have not worked with the vibration analysis features but I'll try to help if I can.

This is an impressive work, I was wondering if you could help me with vibration analysis, iam currently working on helicopter tail rotor and I dont quite know how to provide graphs of forcing and displacement....many thanks

Hello, this is John White, founder of APE. I like your video. I am training local pile drivers. May I use this to train?
