The First Descendant - RTX 4070 Super - Ryzen 7 5700x3D | 1440p

Japanese/Korean mix of Warframe and Destiny entering global market in a big way, reaching 230 000 concurrent players on Steam just first day, a workweek day. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and was developed by NEXON, yes that NEXON that released Warhaven 10 months ago and the game is averaging 0 players on Steam. Let's hope this try will be better, I had fun so far after first 2 hours.
Anyway I haven't used Ray Reconstruction, because it's actually making the game more heavy, and sometimes even by 10-15%, which is insanity and it needs to be fixed.
I've added monitoring of GPUBusy Deviation, which means how much my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU. It reflects difference between GPUBusy Avg (the time how long it takes for GPU to send a frame) and Frametime Avg (the time how long it takes to show frame on my screen), difference between these two numbers is CPU working on sending frames to you, and that equals CPU bottleneck.
Lower is better, but this measurement is not 100% accurate, but it gives an idea.

FG introduces input delay, isn't that relevant to show?

Hey, I actually do not know how to track it currently. Adding FrameView overlay on top of what I have just for latency is not something I want, and I do record everything with Nvidia Shadowplay as it has extremely good quality/performance ratio so I can't record Nvidia's overlay. OBS is just too heavy for recording, and I do not have 2nd PC or capture card that can take care of it.
Also Nvidia is showing only PC Latency, which might be good to be shown, but it's not End-to-End system latency, so it does not track your display latency and peripheral latency.
Usually the best time to turn on Frame generation is when you are close to 60fps without frame generation so it has the lowest effect on input lag.
Immediately after CapFrameX add support for at least PC latency, I will add it. To that moment I will not do that, but I'm open to suggestions.

@@midderftw well some kind of input latency is relevant, since I've watched other videos showing the affect of FG on/off, just a thought.

@@RedlioNxTR Feel free to link me these videos, I'll check how they do it. Because I actually do not have idea without using other recording software. I don't know what program can track PC Latency except for Nvidia's FrameView.

Hey, this is default preset from the factory, I did not want to change it for the video. This model of 4070 Super is running hotter, and it is seen in article on techpowerup.com (www.techpowerup.com/review/gainward-geforce-rtx-4070-super-ghost/).
But yes, I did tried, and I have it undervolted by .115mV, so temps are in different league, and at the same time I was able to make frequency more stable and slightly higher.
To avoid questions like this even though temps in mid 70s are completely fine, in future video I will use my preset.
