I’ve been listening to the Black Keys since ‘04. Every time I think I know what the next album will sound like, they go and create something unexpected! Sure, it always sounds like a Black Keys album, but it’s never the same. Thank you Dan and Pat for always moving forward and pushing the boundaries!
Agree 100% I have been listening to them since 2004 as well, first album was Thickfreakness. Can't wait for the latest album as it already has two gems!
Black Keys are constantly evolving their theme and aesthetic while pushing the boundaries of their genre, yet their sound and performance is always instantly recognizable and utterly distinctive from virtually anything and anyone else creating popular music today
That's what I've collected from people commenting here. People say they are "same-y", but that the people that fall into their genre absolutely love the f*cking shit out it. Dan and Pat alternate between their roots with covers from Delta Kream and all through The Big Come Up to Rubber Factory and so on, yet they try to experiment and make new stuff along the way, like what we saw with Attack & Release, Brothers, El Camino, absolutely Turn Blue and then Let's Rock. I think them sticking to rock, but covering blue, rock & roll, alternative and back allows for really solid combinations that mean that this band will just never get old!
This is unrelated, but jack white sucks. All of his music sucks now. He had a beef with the black keys and several other bands, and went downhill from there. I just had to vent my anti-jack hate. Sorry
Omg, I thought I was the only person who appreciated Let's Rock. It definitely felt like it wasn't talked about much. Glad to hear others loved it too.
My mother would play The Black Keys in the car when she came to pick me and my sister up from my fathers. They have both a nostalgic factor for me, and as of lately, they are very relatable as an adult. They are probably my favorite band.
Nice groove and vibe. I imagine driving down the 101 on Oregon coast with my surfboard on the rack, some of Oregon’s finest in the shirt pocket, and this on car stereo. ☀️🌊🏄
Im no expert, but I think one the reasons I can’t get enough of this track is the guitar solo, which reminds me of Santana. Also love the guitar at the end - unexpected way to close it out.

Absolutely brilliant from the Black Keys I am looking forward to the new album I really hope they come to the UK would love to see them been a fan for a long time
Who else is super glad these guys are back once again?

The first album by the way was "The Big Come Up"
@@brianpetersen7339 I think he meant the first album he was introduced to the black keys with.
Kinda scares me that people are calling 2004 04’
All great musicians and bands feel this way for me and i love it.
"One up your sleeve might get you two in your chest"
That shit went hard
probably referring to the covid vaccine
I can't even begin to express how excited I am for more from this and to see them live on tour this summer
This song is so awesome! Dan is channeling ELO with his wailing vocals. When he sings "it ain't over" he sounds just like Jeff Lynne. Brilliant!
Exactly what I was thinking with their song Showdown
Dude absolutely!! Jeff Lynn vibes for sure. Could not agree more!!
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Yesyesyes.
I'm glad someone caught this and the "Showdown" influence.
A very Arc's sound, I dig it 🤘
🥺was thinking the same
I love the arcs !
Damn, true!!
First 5 seconds is pure Arcs
hi nathan
This right here gives me an "El Camino and Brothers" type flavor with a little "Let's Rock" sprinkled on the cone.
Right.
It’s like Brothers El Camino and the Arcs with more soul and dynamic songs than Let’s Rock. With better mixing than Let’s Rock too
Already a favorite. Damn.
HOLY. FUCK.
A new BK track and the sun is shining, its 9 a.m. and I have a large mug of strong tea...Life is good in this little 3:51 slice of time..

You have no idea how much I love this band🤯🤘🏻🎸🔥
Agreed. They be all up in my souls business 💕😁
Damn, this is chill AF. Love this song.
I love that they've kept a similar sound to 'Let's Rock' which is my favourite Black Keys album.
It is Brothers-like too - and a new style
The Turn Blue album is a masterpiece in my opinion, but, yes, this one is shaping up to be one of their best.
Agreed, it is by far my favourite
Omg, I thought I was the only person who appreciated Let's Rock. It definitely felt like it wasn't talked about much. Glad to hear others loved it too.
Yesss same - el Camino, let’s rock, turn blue and brothers are my go to ! So exited to see how this album shapes up!
More Black Keys? Fuck yea, I'm game 👌👌👌
now that's a good morning ♥️
This band, my life
Sounds a lot like the Arcs. I love it! Thank the gods Dan eats, lives, shits, sleeps and breathes music 🎶
This album is already fire 🔥
I’ve never heard of these guys until I found wild child an hour ago. Holy crap these guys are AWESOME
This album is LIGHT, I will say. Check out their album, Brothers.
Well keep looking cause your eyes are about to be wide open to the magic they create. Enjoy

LOVE that ending guitar solo

If Miami vice ever is remade this would be a great idea for a Theme Song. Just a great song from a super band
Hmm....Imma make it my theme song and play it in my head while walking down the street in slow-motion-cool mode. ;)
