However, when doing family geneology it's turned out to be a family name (though parents had no idea at the time) as all my Danish & German ancestors w/ this name all spell it w/ an "S" as well. So ya, kinda old fashioned, but I agree - I thinks its pretty too (now - LOL)!

Shoot I was just outside feeding a couple dozen little birds my crackers. I guess this is what happens when your sisters cat helps to raise you. My mom should have suspended something when he moved into my playpen & highchair. Snowball trained me so well I'm now a walking cat tree for one cat & the bringer of the radiant heater to cuddle for the other cat. Literally she cuddles the heater. I have pics as proof. Even the neighbors cats hit me up for the occasional stale food just by following me home. Ah well at least my little turds can't waste it then.
The Curious Kitty they’re independent in the way that they can survive on their own. And they don’t necessarily need a human to take care of them. But boy, most cats do love to get affection and stick by their human’s side

Yup, ever since hubby got a kitten and I raised the furball he gose into tje bathroom with me. If the door is closed he will knock it open with his front paws just to sit next the toilet and stare at me until his head is prompty pet. Lmao
My Siamese loves drinking out of the bathroom faucet, curling up in the sink, pulling down towels, and (mostly) staring at his handsome cat face in the mirror. As does his hairy black brother.
They sound adorable! My boy will only take a drink from my bathtub faucet! I read somewhere that cats in the wild prefer drinking from a flowing water source because moving water is less likely to have harmful stuff collecting in it. The author said it's instinctual, so domestic cats will often do the same thing if they have the opportunity.
@@karichiewilson Yep. I think most cats do prefer running water for just that reason. It's also a little colder coming out of the tap. I have multiple water bowls for them (and just put ice cubes in the one on the screened in patio since it's 102 degrees today). I used to have a cat fountain. But it was a pain in the ass to clean the pump motor & change the filter.

(He got filtered water from the fridge, so he'd stand there on his hind legs like he was trying to reach the dispenser levers.) It was an annoyance sometimes, but I love my furry little alarm clock to pieces, anyway!😀
I used to have a cat, and he kinda liked the water. Once I turned on the tap, and he put his head in it. I turned it off, but he learned how to turn it back on...

I miss his little boops with his nose on the back of my leg, he was just letting me know that he was there. What I would do to feel that one more time. I have other fur babies now, but they don't boop me the way he did.

I hate when the toilet flushes in the middle of the night and your the only one home AND you're in bed ! My Moana follows me everywhere. She is a Calico. Like having an ADHD child. 🌞I love her.
I can't go to the bathroom without a particular cat following me. I can count on one hand the number of times I've took a shower with out him and most of those are because I shut the bedroom door to my room, which leads to him sitting out there until I get out.
