Them boot struts definitely somethin il look into. Made my own fog light covers for focus cut out of £5 3mm a4 green perspex n pushed into bottom of spray paint can. Couple min in 180°c oven it gets flexable n spray can bottom was perfect size n shape for mk3 fog lights
That auto boot release is awesome,dont know why ford couldnt do it as standard,the door an power tailgate for the puma,fingers crossed emeralds might do the same for the fiesta,I wrote to them regarding it,the replied not yet:),there is a power tailgate kit for the mk3 focus
Rachael, thanks for the (very) prompt reply. Will look into getting the foglight armour...sounds cool! Another 'channel' covered bonnet struts.....which are great if you are going to display the engine bay. Would love to see you cover this in your 'inimitable' style! All nicely done, might be worth investing in a wind muff for your mic, not sure if it's got an external mic or not
Little tip to improve your videos. Invest in a mic as the sound quality is annoying as a viewer. I just use a little mic on my collar so you don't get wind noise.

Thats the boot struts done,omg they are awesome,simple to fit,its a shame ford couldnt do that as standard,I love my fiesta titanium b and o play editiin so much im thinking of buying a facelift version,I was looking at buying a puma purely because of the powered tailgate option,however with thjs who needs an suv?

@@RachaelBuckley got the struts and fitted them to my fiesta,had them on for almost 2 months,absolutely brilliant,the sheer convenience especially when doing the shopping,the fiesta mk8 is an awesome car,had mine for almost 3 years and its never let me down,its great as a family car for myself my girlfriend and our boy,im even thinking about buying a 2022 facelift if the price is right,I was looking at the puma,but the price of them is just too expensive for what you dont get on them,

Hi the boot struts are not a good idear, they bent the cars fixings on both the bottom fixings, had to get the taken off the car and then sorted at garage, this was about 6 + months after fitting them
i had the same Problem with my Hoodlift -.- after 2 weeks i realised a massive Gap between my hood and my Fenders..
bloody windy Rachii.....like being on formby beach.....

AUTOMATIC BOOT STRUTS
Watch out everybody. i have been using them for two years...They will break the brackets of your trunk. Trust me, dont use them, i liked them a lot but the metal will crack. It is only very thin material.

I’m with a modified specialist called Brentacre, they don’t increase the premium but I know normal insurance companies do

Rachael, loved the vid! What are the foglight armour 'thingy's' made of and, (a) do they offer real protection? and (b) do they seriously affect light output? Loved the boot struts....deffo useful at Saino's! Take care, Dave.
Thank you! & the fog light armour are made out of acrylic hard plastic which do protect the fog lights. There are different colours/patterns for them so obviously with these ones it will effect light output as most of it is covered, but if you go with the less cut out/coloured ones you’ll have more light x
