Now there is more universal scaling (Vtrigger during a combo is double scaled, CCs are double scaled and combining after a throw stun is more scaled) and suddenly scaling is a bad thing? I don’t know if you ever played sf4 but the scaling in that game was way higher than this and people weren’t complaining back then. ending a combo with ultra did double scaling meaning most ultras/supers at the end of a combo do 10% of their damage (usually 9% because guts scaling) plus most ultras wouldn’t even get their full cinematic meaning even less damage. but in SF5 they made it worth the resources to end a combo with super by making the minimum scaling 50% (or 45% is you take into account guts scaling). I don’t really understand your point, you’re complaining that the scaling is too high, yet it’s way less than sf4 ever had. But your complaint is also contrary to what the majority of complaints actually were; that being that there isn’t enough scaling.
@@jk844100 I really am not complaining about anything. I come from fighting games where the scaling is much much much less present than in the street fighter series. In those game a combo that requires a fourth of the inputs this guy did would have done the exact same damage. It's sad because I felt that the combo was really well executed and beautiful to look at yet the execution wasn't as rewarded compared to other games. That's all there is to it.
@@thelink9959 It took over half the enemy's hp. Just like the commenter above said, if you're getting stunned off of that throw, this would likely kill anyways. The combo is nice, sure, but you shouldn't be getting rewarded that hard to the point where people die that fast lol.

Not at all. Supers always do a minimum of 50% of its damage regardless of scaling.
