Worth noting as well that the downstroke matching process only creates an initial rough solution. Still requires a sprucing up process to perfect it.

I wish videos like this (and RUclips itself) had existed back when I was young and obsessed with ambigrams. I struggled for many hours trying to create one for my name. Using graph paper and lining up the points like you did clearly makes so much more sense than just scribbling in my notebook like I did. I eventually gave up on Scott, but did manage to come up with a legible ambigram that read Scott one way and Davis the other, but I was never really happy with it. Cracking good video! I look forward to seeing more.
I just tried making an ambigram of "Connor," but I couldn't figure out whether there was a way to make it look as "connected" as "Matt" does.
round letters you gotta split in half if I recall. Takes some tweaks, but the "downstrokes" are taken from the middle of the letter. For example, O would have two.
Did you know? All Matts are clones of one original Matt. However, we got distracted and managed to forget which one of us is the original. So, we typically go through our lives trying to remember which one of us is it is.

I think it’s impossible to be ambigramed but I also have faith that you can make it work. Hopefully you see this.
I think you could even make using capital Ts with a small cross. It would look like serifs on the bottom of the M.

Loved your videos for Ages and actually tryed to do some ambigrams myself for me and my friends, i came up with a version of matt that is readable and used "matt" instead of "mAtt" so it doesnt read as switching cases
