The subsidies are demanded only on the export of surplus sugar, because the claimed cost of producing sugar is more than the international prices. There are some others as well, but overall a very good analysis. Three of the biggest problems are : 1. Massive tax evasion. 2. The contracts signed with the IPPs 3. I was listening to president chamber of commerce... He was saying to chairman FBR on national tv that we are ready for it but when state is not taking care of people why people should pay tax.. ?? He said we have to spend money by ourselves on our health on our security and on our kids education etc then why should we pay taxes.. ? We need money for all these things.. moreover govt is taking indirect taxes on all the purchases and even on using roads and electricity so you can't say people are not paying taxes here in this country... We see this elite is spending 18 billion dollars every year on their perks and prevelages and this money is collected by indirect taxes taken from all the 250 million people of the country so why should we pay even more tax on our income...

For instance Habib Bank, Hashmi, and many other industries or services. These CURRENT DAY and reigning feudal lords and industrialists, became powerful after Quaid E Azam died which is why Pakistan is in the mess it is today. I disagree with both of them to an extent. The rich Muhajirs had money and funds that they used in Pakistan to help spring Pakistan and its industries up. For instance Habib Bank, Hashmi, and many other industries or services. Furthermore, rich nawabs, industrialists, or Muhajirs feudal lords who brought everything with them from India were who Quaid E Azam received assistance from.
These CURRENT DAY and reigning feudal lords and industrialists, became powerful after Quaid E Azam died which is why Pakistan is in the mess it is today.
Quaid E Azam feared no man and nobody’s bribes would deter him from his path. Same thing with Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah and Quaid e Millat.
