  • Long waits, different doctors, repeating your medical history again and again. We know it's frustrating.
That's why Liberal Democrats would give over 70s and those with a long-term health condition access to a named GP.
These proposals form part of wider Liberal Democrat plans to fix the GP crisis that is leaving many people struggling to see a family doctor when they need to. This includes increasing the number of GPs by 8,000, and giving everyone a legal right to see a GP within a week or 24 hours if in urgent need.

I wish the Lib Dems would promote themselves more. They are far to quiet. Get the message out to voters they are desperate for a change so let them know what we stand for.

We need wise management, a statesmanlike leader with gravitas, internationally adept as well as domestically pro-business .. not another clown. Ed Davey has no plan for UK PLC .... that's enough for me to run away from Mr Bungie Jump... what will the cabinet look like? ..He doesnt need a cabinet... he needs a stunt co-ordinator.

Today I went to vote in St Mary Church at 18:50pm, the LibDem lady outside the hall treated me very racially as a man of color, she ignored me and start checking the polling cards of young English ladies standing behind me in the queue. Though Ed Davey portray himself color blind but this act has exposed the Lib Dems color biased to me at such a ground level. I will never vote for Lib Dems in future, I will vote for Labour although I am extremely annoyed with Labour leadership on Palestine violence of Israel.

While it's very frustrating and horrifying that you have been the victim of racism from a liberal democrat, is the correct way to deal with that not to report the one person, rather than boycotting the party?

You could have experienced this in any party. Tories and Labour are far more racist than the Lib Dems

@superwalker90 I am so sorry you experienced that racism and if as a Lib Dem myself I can possibly apologise on behalf of her I do now. That is appalling and I would hope there is a way for you to report the incident and for you to be addressed directly by the local Lib Dems in your area. However please may I note that it might be best not to dismiss the whole party, because racism is fundamentally against our values and the Lib Dems are also horrified by what Israel is doing in Gaza.
They called for a ceasefire in November, long before Labour, and have demanded the Government stops selling arms to Israel.
Please let me tell you that many Lib Dems would be horrified by what you experienced and not treat you that way.

After Davey’s blandness over the current Post Office scandal (he was the responsible minister at one point and could have sorted it) I wouldn’t trust anything he says.
Despite him not being a Tory he can make his mouth say anything and I think he shares the Tory trait of being a complete liar.

Horizon was implemented in 1996, the post office were prosecuting people between 1999-2015 and were finally held to account in 2019 then managed to drag out compensation claims. Ed Davey was Post Office Minister for 2 years, 2010-2012. Prior to that Labour oversaw the post office for 13 years, Davey was given the same advice the previous Labour ministers were given, if he "could have sorted it" why didn't the Labour ministers?
