I'm so happy to be back!
If anyone wants to check out these eraser pencils we've put them in my art supplies list here...

Thank you!!!! That's so fascinating that this even exists! What precision you can get with it ! I thought the kneaded eraser was the most revolutionary eraser that would ever exist- and now this exists! I love it 😀 😍 ❤ 💖💗💕
Can you make a tutorial on how to draw side view faces. I'm really struggling today I drew such a beautiful saide view body but had to erase it because I couldn't draw the face. It hurt my soul eraseing that. And if you can't that's totally okay too

Wow reply
I'm been thinking while watching your shorts can you draw a Dodorex from the video game for a Halloween event Ark Survival Evolved: Fear Evolved. I ♥ Dinosaurs. 🦕 🦖 🦣🦎🐍🐲🦕🦖
The cutting of the pencil eraser body hurt me deep down in my soul
Sameee 😢
He can still use it tho!
Me too! Just put it in longways somewhere!
It's like eating ice with your teeth. *shiver*
I thought, “just sharpen it until it fits. Surely you don’t travel _that_ much.”
I use them in school all the time especially art class and whenever people ask me to borrow an eraser and I hand them that, they always get so confused lmao. It's funny seeing them just stare at it and ask their mates to look at it considering it's so normal to me.
Same! I used to bring two of them to school before I lost them a while back, and every time I brought one out, everyone would stare and get so confused! Even a teacher asked me to show it to the class because they were practically amazed by it! 😆
You're crazy, absolutely bonkers, how in the world are you just fine with lending your super cool eraser pencils to other people? I could never, all my art stuff has to be protecc from people who might misuse

Yea! He would teach really well I love his art it's so unique
like math teachers , but more fun ofc 😂

Honestly i do drawings alot but even then ill wont have a chance in life with art because of living costs in my country so i thought of choosing architect and i might want to use that pencil in future

I've seen kneaded graphite ... doodledate did an episode about it.

If pink erasers get old enough they gain the ability to write
I love using the tombow mono zero erasers! They’re like mechanical pencils in eraser form and come in a rectangle shape or a thin circular shape. Definitely a staple in my kit and they’re extremely portable
I was going to mention the Tombow also. Very handy.
I love mine! Plus no sharpening needed 😊
I'm no artist but when you cut that, I felt the pain

I’m so excited because my niece is very interested in art (my own kid is more of a musician than visual artist).
She’s 10, so for Christmas I’m getting her a whole sketching art kit that I’m putting together myself.
A couple months ago I asked her what kind of art supplies she would want, and she wants a “nice sketchbook” that would hold up to going to school with her, and a pencil eraser.
She talked so wistfully about all the ways she could use a pencil eraser (kid after my own soul).
So, in her art kit, I’m getting her a couple different kinds of erasers including a “clicky” eraser and a couple pencil erasers.
She’s going to be so excited! And I’m bursting to give it to her!
10 seems like a good age to start getting “real” art supplies. At least for a kid with a strong interest.
How did it go?
Omg, WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY ARTISTIC LIFE?!
“Have you ever seen a pencil that was just an eraser?”
The execution made me laugh :)
Me just sharpening the eraser at the end of my pencil, “I don’t need no pencil eraser!”

Thats how you be popular at school
Why is this so relatable I just sharpen the metal part and I get extra eraser
@@Nuobie your my friend now
@@Nuobie Respect earned
Because one of my hobbies are drawing and it’s so relatable to never be able to get through small spaces of the parts where you need to erase. And it’s so annoying when you have to do it RIGHT NEXT TO THE PERFECT SPOT OF THE DRAWING!!! DRIVES ME CRAZY!!
*this painful moment when you didn't heard something in long short and you must watch it all over*

Are you not able to rewind the short?
That’s why I love using cheap eraser caps. Their triangle shape lets me be more precise when erasing tiny details, but they can also erase larger areas so they’re very versatile
I've always used those as well because they're cheap AF, you can find them in almost any store, and they work well.
I used to use these! Once i got to art school i upgraded to one that was like a mechanical pencil with a really thin eraser inside. I still use them, it's another Blick product
E: its the tombow mono stick eraser. Super cheap but lovely companions to a kit

I love to know that I’m not the only one who loves to use the Fabre castle eraser pencils, easy to use and very precise for art work 🤭✨
i used to need this like 6pcs or more for a semester in my early years of architecture school mainly to fix really small details on manual drawing, it's truly a life saviour!
"Have you ever seen a pencil"
No, don't spoil it for me
For anyone who doesn't have pencil extenders but finds themselves in a similar situation where the pencil is too long, cut it in half instead of just cutting the last bit off. Makes both parts easier to use.
Now...WELCOME BACK, SAVAS! You were greatly missed!
Had something similar in a kit that I got for an architectural drafting competition for the manual drafting portion (where you draw your plans, views, or whatever my hand and not using computer-aided drafting). Wasn’t like a wooden pencil but more like a mechanical pencil where you could push the long eraser in and out. Very handy!
OH wow.
I remember seeing one of these like 20-something years ago as a kid and it took me about 10 years to find one.
They are amazing. They have the white-eraser kinds as well.
I never knew these existed and my life has now been changed because of it
This dude makes me feel like finding the city of Atlantis with him and then sketching it
I'm happy 😊
You're an amazing artist, Scott.
You inspire me to draw and continue through my art journey. My favorite art medium is pencil. I love drawing people and experimenting with light and shadows. I especially love drawing hair and tiny details like the shine on the lips.
Hope you have a good day, Scott!! 😊
I had a pencil with an eraser at the back it was so easy to use on small spaces. Also, as I keep using it, the eraser reduce to a more conic shape. Even better.
Can’t wait to hear about you teaching in Venice. you’d be a great teacher :D
My personal favourite for detailed erasing is the tombow eraser pen! It works kind of like a mechanic pencil with rechargeable eraser cartridges - the eraser is only 2,3 mm wide so you can get a lot of details in ^^
If there's a hobby lobby near you, they sell them too. They have them here in West coast.
I have those exact ones! I like using them sometimes but I don’t make much detailed art (though I should) so I don’t use them as much. They are still pretty great!
"have you ever seen a pencil?"
yes.
I have those same exact pencils! I literally use them from everything, they’re great from erasing spots to big for a regular eraser.
Somewhere in the art universe, a thousand artists cried out in pain when you cut that eraser
This is the first time I watch one of your videos and it just struck me as really wholesome
It’s reminds me of a mechanical eraser, just like mechanical pencils you can get erasers too which are so handy
Omg omg omg
I've been using these since 5th grade and they've genuinely saved my last art assignment this June
Seeing Scott love them too is like being accepted by the gods
Kneadable erasers changed my life. They're amazing to work with with charcoal & the old ones get so saturated with charcoal dust that you can draw with them.
I just love how excited you sounded to share this with everyone❤️
“Unfortunately it was too big for my bag”
Dude just keep it horizontally lol
Dad, if your back with the milk, just know that I am famous:)

You gotta try the round Tombo MONO Zero eraser! One of my professors recommended it an I can't live without it anymore!
Yep that's what I use. It's fantastic
We’re so glad you found this eraser too! 😊
Wait faber castle has pencil erasers now, I so need this!
Muji has a great “pencil eraser” too and you don’t have to sharpen it like the wooden one you have, because the pencil eraser of muji is like tough paper with a string around the eraser, once you need to sharpen it you just pull on the string on* the side and rip the through the rough paper to one cm and peel it off
Me“Did you draw that?”
Him“No I erased it”
you rejuvenate my motivation to do traditional art
Tombow makes really fine stick erasers. there is a round one and a rectangular one. I do a lot of detailed work with charcoal, soft pastel, and graphite and they are phenomenal. I pretty much always have one on me.
YESSS!!!! I have a bunch of these! They are epic! Oh, try your local staples, mine had them for a great price!
Holy shit this is genius. I been wrapping kneaded in shading paper for the longest! Thank you
Yeah, in Italy we sell those things and they are so useful. There are actually other brands that produce those, if you like to draw or you have o draw for school you usually have one of those
I can see myself trying to make a whole drawing with that but then realizing I was just erasing an empty paper
“Have you ever seen a pencil that’s just an eraser?”
“Mhm I have one :)”
…
“Oh my gosh I have THAT one XD”
Same! 😂
Same!
Not me blowing on the screen trying to get the eraser bits off 🤣
YES. I love these!! They're kind of like white versions of your coloured pencils or even leads for a mechanical pencil, I ALWAYS need to get a spare set when I go for supplies
Can’t wait for the video abt your class
thank you SO MUCH!!!! now i can make my art friends feel like they live under a rock. i’m saying this because it’s usually me that’s living under the rock. 😂😂
art school life saver ngl love this lil guy
I always use the double sided ones, there is one with a pink and white, more denser eraser side. I love it to death! They were my cheat code in high school art class ;)
This seriously seems like the best thing in the world to someone who does really messy sketches like me
How many times am I gonna accidentally grab a pencil eraser and rub out my art
I’m just thinking about how satisfying that clip of the kneaded eraser was
The happiness you feel when you see one of your favorite artists use the same sharpener :)
I have one of these! They are so cool! Great job with the video
Imagine a guy who spent hundreds of hours on a sketch asking for a pink colored pencil, and they color everything for a outline and realize it’s a eraser..
He's the art teacher that we all needed☺
I adore these. They're silly expensive but so fucking useful
As a kid growing up I still draw to this day and let’s say I’m rlly good at it and it’s improved a lot so this was rlly inspiring .❤
I CANT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS! THANK YOUUU! ❤😆🙌
I love them almost as much as pencils that are just smudgers.
I've been using this little guy for years now, they're lovely! Glad to see some recognition for them 😆
H-How? How have I not known about this? I’m definitely going to buy 25 more of these
That actually looks so helpful
I once bought them 3 because I thought those were white pencils but when I got home I realized that those were erasers, and I can say those are the best and easiest erasers to use when I draw something with so many details :D
Our elementary school store used to sell things like this, they came in vibrant colors and the back end had a brush to clean up the eraser shavings.
I got a eraser-pencil thingy, but its mechanical. I always love people getting SUPER confused when I hand it to them lmao
This is SO GENIUS!
This is my go to for charcoal drawings! Must have for any drawing enthusiast or artist!
Wow. Did not know these existed. Really cool to keep an eye out for 👀. Didn't know pencil erasers were a thing outside of the mechanical ones but Faber Castell gernerally has really good quality products.
Mono’s micro eraser pens are good too. They’re mechanical pencils that hold either a circular or rectangular eraser. Pretty neat!
Yes I have one, pretty useful!
Italy has so many great art supplies! I love it
That was pretty cool, I've never tried that pencil eraser stick. One of my favorites to use is Paper Mate tuff stuff eraser stick.
It's like a mechanical pencil and the Eraser is only 1/8 of an inch. They also sell packs of refills for them.
I usually use a razor blade to slice a nice edge on it. It's really great for pulling light out of your shading when doing thin lines such as hair. But it also makes it easy to erase small areas as is.
Oh, I had one of these! I don’t draw on physical mediums a lot these days but it was really useful when I did. I highly recommend it.
I bet this works really well. The only “precision” eraser I have is a regular ol’ pink eraser in which I use the corners for precision as best I can
I got this yesterday with 4 sketch pencils at hobby lobby. No worries guys it’s actually cheap! Like $11!❤
theres those mini mechanical erasers too with refillable eraser(?) that work just like a mechanical pencil, i use it all the time now!
I immediately rushed to the art store after I saw this and got the same one, and using it these past months has been very useful!
This guy and his satchel is exactly what I picture an artist looking like
I use a pencil eraser as well and I find it to clean better than normal erasers, and it also doesn’t damage the drawing itself by accidental erasing. I use a Stadler pencil sharpener though to keep it pointy.
You are so cool ! What a great find. 👏🏻👏🏻
I love these erasers!!! I use them all the time!
In my class, we sharpen the metal piece at the top so that the eraser that was previously all the way down to the bottom is able to be used again.
Thank you for the product recommendation!! 😊
This is the art supply what i love using.
I use one of these for my art dolls! You can sharpen them by hand (I use an xacto knife) to get the sharp point if you’re careful with it, but it also likes to tear if the blade isn’t really sharp.
I have a little mechanical eraser that's also really nice to use, you can just buy refills and the eraser itself so it's really nice to have! Honestly it's my main eraser unless I need a large section erased.
Now someone needs to make an eraser that’s just pencil
I love these!
I used to have one of these that had a little brush thing on the other end so you could brush away the eraser shavings without smudging the rest of the design
