Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash - No Easy Road
No easy road to get where you want to go
out on that lost highway
Just lonely hours and the wheels spinning round
watching the miles fall away
Staring out at a parking lot off the Interstate Motel
Wishing I was farther along than where I am now
No easy road to get where you want to go
out on that lost highway
Just lonely hours and the wheels spinning round
watching the miles fall away
You got friends that you've left behind
and you got towns where you can't go back
No place ever feels like home
except the wrong side of the tracks
Mark Stuart has the blessing of Johnny Cash. They are a great band.
