Jennie Urman has a girl boner for Justin Baldoni and as a result the story is going to shit. I've watched real Novelas my whole life and any other director would have kept Michael when they realized their story has escaped canon because that's what a director does. The couples who go through the most hurdles to be together usually end up together. I can't believe Jane literally threw him away. There's no chance Rafael will let her be friends with him either.
@@Firegirl483 i know this might be weird since a year of this comment has passed, but I just watched JTV, and I found this video and that's exactly what I say, in telenovelas the couple that struggles the most to be together is the one that is supposed to be together, they could have changed the ending, since Rafael had the most drama outside of Jane, with her he just needed to wait for Michael to be "gone".
I kinda see her decision to staying with Rafael at the end was that probably she didn't want anymore problems, he could have even take Mateo with him for a while or idk, cuz like u said he wouldn't have accepted for Michael to be around and she knew that.
They should have never brought Michael back just to ruin their love story. It’s pretty obvious that Jane and Rafael are gonna be end game but did the writers really need to bring back Michael just to prove it. They ruined Michael’s character and made his and Jane’s love story be... well basically nothing at this point :(

I’m crying. Why did the show do this to us? Throughout every season they made us believe that Jane and Michael would be forever. “It’s you, it’s always been you” “Encuentro significante” “He would love Jane until his dying breath” “All I want is for you to be happy” “You are absolutely who I want” Man and it’s not that I don’t ship Jane and raf. I would be happy for them if Michael never came back. But now that he did come back, he will forever live with the fact that he basically got his life robbed for something that wasn’t his fault. Man this is unfair.

But in a way Michael did die , even with his memories back he still wasn’t Michael , he was a weird mix of Michael and Jason. He was different after coming back and he wasn’t the same. Jane had moved on and closed that chapter , years of simply not being with someone thinking they were dead so you move on and change as a person. Then that person to come back completely different to the person you remember would really mess someone up. She had changed and Michael wasn’t the one anymore .
I've started watching this show because of Jane and Rafael videos, and I would have never in a million years thought that it would Michael and Jane's love story I need. What an emotional wreck you've made me.

Realistically, after Jane marries Rafael, he will divorce her and fight for custody of Mateo after she mentions Michael in passing or Michael comes back to Miami to see his family and friends. The sheer sight of Michael will send Rafael into his "bad place" and they'll divorce when Jane has finally had enough.
he will always love jane. it’s a telenovela and in a perfect ‘world’ they would end up together but the writers seem to pity rafael so much and it’s really annoying

This season makes me sad that they didn't win. I get it's obvious that Rafeal and Jane are end game, but they made a perfect love story, brought it back only to tell us he was significant. Making the love story and what happen feel not significant.
This relationship was suppose to be endgame. Micheal has done many things for Jane. Many manyyy things for her. He moved the mountains and sky for Jane. He’s the kind of man ladies want in life.

All that happened in S5 in a way felt like their love can conquered all (even amnesia) and be together to not look back (once again) to suddenly she saying she loves Rafael more and leaves him . . . What?.
I know that Rafael was the original endgame since its based on the Venezuelan telenovela, but in that telenovela they didn't have a Michael for obvious reasons. What they did to their story was mind-blowing, i don't know how the writers destroyed something they beautifully and carefully created and after all they still showed that Michael was the better man since Rafael went to his dark place and couldn't handle the situation. Michael was the husband that got robbed, not only w/Jane but his entire life and was more understandable and put Jane's happiness first as always. So for me, they eventually will keep finding their way back to eachother.
Anyway, I found it so cute that you found and saw in them the inspiration to do a soulmates video 💕
how could they have brought michael back, only for jane to dump him! shame on the writers for disrespecting michael, cordueva and every aspect of him on the show! jafael must be endgame fine, i don't get why michael has to suffer for it to happen! writers are so desperate to prove that rafael wasn't a second choice/settlement for jane, they *STOMPED* all over michael and every beautiful part of him they created over the past 4 years! instead of focusing on jafael relationship and their *future* they kept looking in the past for ways they could use, to make them seem like they were always 'destined' to be together (my ass) and push them further down our throats!! when michael died it was painful and unbearable to all of us cordueva fans, we thought we wouldn't ever see him again-all we knew was that our ship was never ever coming back, but we accepted it. we were good with jane try dating other guys, we were good with her getting over michael in a *healthy* way and we were good with her giving rafael a chance and falling in love with him, given the *natural* flow all of it went with. no doubts, no ultimatums, no blackmails and no emotional abuse, just two people naturally growing closer and falling in love, deciding to spend the rest of their lives together. *that's* how things should've stayed! they wanted to have drama, there are a million other things they could've done, there was no.need.to.hurt.MICHAEL!!!!!
It's funny because Rafael is still and will always be second choice. Yes she left Michael this time but that's because she felt guilt over Rafael. She calls it love but we know it's just guilt. Michael had to die and be out of everyone's lives for 5 years for Jane to consider Rafael as an option. I'm really sad about how pathetic they've made Jane. Begging for Rafael to give her any attention. 😑
@@Firegirl483 of course he is second choice. she always goes back to rafael when she's done with michael-be it even when she decides she doesn't feel the same way about him anymore. and of course that's also some real, big ass bullshit. jane is sooo sure about her and rafael, she chooses him immediately because she's sooo in love with him now, *cough* even though it's more like, after a failed attempt at reconnect with michael *cough* she's ready to move in with him, start their new life together, go on her, him and mateo-hell she even has *sex* with him after discovering her husband came back from the dead but then boom (!) michael gets his memories back, and it's all it takes for jane to have 'cold feet' once again!!! and do not tell me it's reasonable to have some doubt whether or not she wants to be with him/still love him because he was her husband after all, she shared so many things with him, he was an important part of her life blah-blah-blah, please. you can hesitate about all these things, but you can never hesitate about your *feelings.* she was so upset he was just going to walk away, she went into a frenzy trying to get those divorce papers back, and she didn't even *hesitate* about going with him to montana!! the point is, jane never hesitates about michael. jane never gets 'cold feet' when it comes to michael. and if rafael had treated jane at least half the way michael did in this whole situation, she wouldn't have had those ridiculous visions where she *cringed,* in every single possibility that the certain scenario would upset him!!! i'm so done with this show, at least it's ending so we won't have to endure another season of stupidity as such. honestly at this point, i'm mostly watching for rogelio and petra.
