Yep! Never toss a frame. Ive had real worthless bikes but still was able to get them up and back in the world again. I'd love to see you use that three-speed on something.
There was a time where I used to tinker on bikes in the garage with the garage door open. People noticed and I became the neighborhood bike man. I would help kids with their bike problems but then it kind of got out of hand with adults coming by wanting bikes fixed and even just dropping them off in the yard with a note. I didn't mind helping the kids out but that was about it. I now work with the door closed lol. Never really wanted to open a shop. I think being part of a bike coop type thing might have been neat but now that I'm retired I just want to do my own thing with no commitments or responsibilities to others. As always I really appreciate you watching and commenting.
I guess I didn't mention it in the video but I did give it a matte clear coat to help slow the rusting. I've since reconfigured the bike if you'd like to take a look... ruclips.net/video/D0lljQvjvlA/видео.html I did like it in this cruiser type configuration though. Thanks for watching.
Awesome build, looks comfortable, love how you kept the frame In its natural condition 👍
Thanks. Something I didn't mention in the video that I just remembered is that I sprayed a clear coat over the frame to somewhat preserve that patina.
Yet, another slick looking bike.
As usual, great build with a lot of character. I especially like the swept back handlebars on this one 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
Had a Montgomery Ward frame, (23" or 58cm), that I got rid of. Wish I'd kept it now.

Nice smasher! Glad you saved it!
Thank you and thanks for watching.
I like it.
Thanks.
I like the chain guard a lot
@@EriebyCycle Yeah me too. This is one of my recent rebuilds though and it’s now multi speed and no longer has the chainguard.
Nice wabi-sabi👍
Have you ever thought of opening a bike repair shop? Or would that take the fun out of it for you repair bike? Love the videos...

That bikes got more soul flavor than a pair of white leather slip on shoes .
lol thanks.
A clear matte lacquer over that patina would be cool.
