my grandparents had the set (pickup and saloon). the saloon had independent rear suspension and was a highway rocket, the pickup could carry 1 ton of veggies from shags at 120kph, uphill. the saloon got written off in an accident, no injuries, and the pickup sold later. i miss them... na hizo brakes ziwe serviced
I love that you did a review on the legendary Peugeot 504 my all time favourite, however I would have enjoyed the review more if you had done a proper walkaround, a peek into the engine bay, the trunk, the interior, I'd have liked to see how clean the dash, the roof lining, door panels, the carpets are on that car, the wiring etc. However good job :)
504 had all wheel disc brakes and they were brilliant, the L Model had live axle and drum brakes at back which were good too. Maybe you need a new master cylinder.
temp guauge very handy though, I blew the head on my 504 with a pinhole leak on a hose, killed it after a 300km drive, I didn't have rhe skills or money at the time to repair it and sold it for next to nothing, beautiful to drive before all that though. One of the best cars I ever had! Seriously brilliant design and tough.
I have to get the Peugeot 504, I hope I get one. I have already redesigned the 504 blueprint, all I need is money for a good rebuild and the 504 itself😂
Well executed. Now, are the brakes really that awful? Has the owner considered an upgrade? I mean, i understand the whole maintaining the authenticity of the masterpiece thing and all, but i don't think upgrading the stoppers to something manufactured in this millennium would hurt.
The ride comfort and road holding of this 504 is miles ahead of any Japanese cars still. Japanese cars are reliable but not rugged enough as Japanese cars like Toyota still uses old technologies and old school of thought just to achieve the reliability but lacking comfort. New Japanese cars are no longer reliable when they start incorporating newer technologies just like Europeans. Toyota still had lots of safety issues yet to be resolved like Takata air bags , unintended acceleration, fuel pump failure , brake vacuum.booster and so on especially Toyota brand.
Awesome!
I salute the owner for keeping it in such an original state.
Brilliant feature of 504. Big ups
A deeply satisfying watch for a proud owner of this legendary classic
Thats good stuff im a good fan of the 504 congratulations to the owner for keeping the Gem clean.
Well worth the wait
Dude you're a fan too? 😊
@@christinemurunga986 I'm in the same club with the guy hehe
A review of the legendary francophonic behemoth well done. Salute to the owner.
Very nice and enjoyable video, thank you. And a wonderful countryside as well! Greetings from Argentina.
I owned one. They are a lovely car which unfortunately will never be seen again. Simple pleasures, long forgotten.

Memories...this 😏 504 was classic ! It was an intimacy drive , a different kind of feeling .
OMW! That gas station attendant...🤦🏾♀
I am deeply disappointed!
This is something priceless and uniquely rare you need not miss! Yayee!😂
Ikr? 😂
I had the pleasure of driving this very car at the 2017 Concours...a real head turner. Keep the content coming...subscribed.

Was going to say something very similar. The 504s breaks would hold up again most modern day cars, they were very good indeed.
Rear drum adjustment! Long pedal taking up free movement on shoes. (assuming no other issues/air in system)
My dream car... I would have this over anything else. A daily car. 504 Simba. The one you are reviewing is it a GS or GR?
What a car, memories man..
finally . You guys should do one on subaru impreza or the toyota corolla
They were made till mid 2000s in Nigeria and also in Argentina
That was great!!
Way cool. I'm a sucker for old school
504 dominated the long distance Rallies for many many years.
Awesome
Awesome content.
I rem wrecking my dads 505 when i was 22 after finishing college...it was such a beauty but quite a pain in the b*tt on repairs.
Check on your side. That white take a photo of the car. It's really amazing. Our area Mp owned one back then. We could stand nearby to see the car

J.m Baraza I thought you said it's over with Peugeot after your bitter experience with your Peugeot 405
0:58 Hi ni mlango ya Peugeot kweli?
How convenient Blake..How Convenient 😂😒
classic
I don't think that's a GL version as stated.for a kaj that's a sr. GL were all over 2.0l and not 1.8L
You right. It should be a SR
True I also thought GR or SR no way a KAJ is a GL

Actually all the brakes needed was a little adjustment. That was done after the film was shot. The car stops perfectly now
wait..... refuel was less than quarter tank?
I saw that, too. I suppose they were in a hurry.
504 is part of my family
