I live near Lake Louise and I wasn’t aware of the Jason statue when I moved here. Me and a couple friends go kayaking and diving there all the time. We went and I dove into the lake and saw something in the distance. I was dumb and swam closer to see what it was. When I saw Jason Vorhees I nearly choked and swam up as fast as I could. I go there to visit him sometimes. Me and my friends like to pat him on the head whenever we go.
I would love to go see it but I have Thalassophobia ( fear of the ocean ) and just the thought of something 9 feet below me like a shark or something just gives me goosebumps thinking about it
I agree why talk about it if you are going to blurr it out? I mean what is so horrible about it? It is a Jason statue underwater. Either youtube is not allowing a fictional character to be seen due to copyrights or Fastpass made a mistake when making this video. Either way I am disappointed I was seriously looking forward to see Jason underwater.
@@altarush it was for the lolz. Someone probably joked after they finished the movie and said "wouldn't it be hilarious if we just left it down there to scare divers" and since no one had a better idea, they went with it.
I just noticed the little positive phrases that appear in small red text under the titles of the statues. That is so awesome! They say things like "Your life matters" and "You're not alone" This is really cool. Thank you.
Jason Taylor is doing an amazing thing for the coral life. A person that is using his art abilities to help the environment is alright in my book. Very inspirational
I don't have submechanophobia but some of these were particularly scary to me even more than the moving animal and fantastical animatronics because the lifeless humanoid sculptures deep underneath the water remind me of very real and non-manmade drowning victims/sunken corpses and the Titanic sinking and things of that nature
Of course I get my dive certification AFTER Jason was removed from my home lake. I would've loved to go there with my dad and completely crap my pants. Guess I'll have to find my way to the other one now.
It’s also thalassophobia ( fear of large bodies of water such as sea/ ocean ) I have thalassophobia and just the thought of something of me being surrounded in deep dark waters and not knowing what is lurking 9 feet or deeper below you just gives me goosebumps. Hell it could be a Megalodon for all you know and are ocean is only explored 5% now 10% and what they find down there is fucking terrifying
the beautiful statues like the Musa or Ocean Atlas don't scare me at all, but Ogopogo or that god awful shark and dragon are a big ol bucket of nope for me, chief
There is a statue of Louis riding a horse in the Mississippi River in St. Louis. Depending on how high the water is, you can see the whole statue or just his hat. It’s pretty cool.
I’ve snorkeled in the Bahamas in that state park, it was pretty cool swimming near ocean atlas, it’s way bigger than it looks, it was awesome! There were a lot of other cool things and statues under water on that tour too.
The statue of the giant is unsettling regardless of where its placed a statue mid struggle is just unpleasant. The statue that is legit scary under water is ogo pogo. The merky water makes it truly terrifying to accidentally come across. Ok also the jason statue and the shark statue are legit scary. The others are serene to be honest
OH and I know the last time I looked her up, Jason deCaires Taylor's statute "La Diablesse" had unfortunately lost her head, but you'd enjoy the pictures and reading about how you have to swim through a passage to find her. You don't get to see her face until you swim past. She is what haunts my nightmares but she's my favorite!
So neat to learn a different kind of phobia, My oldest son name is Atlas ☺️. So cool to learn they made a Statue called Atlas after the Greek mythology
Thank you for using your platform to provide education about climate change and other environmental concerns while creating another intriguing submechanophobia video! Excellent content combination- I loved watching it.
So these spooky statues can help prevent further damage to natural coral reefs, by discouraging either active harm (dynamite fishing) or passive harm (by encouraging tourists away from natural reefs). They’re also cool as shit, eeriness aside. My conclusion? More creepy underwater statues!
If you ever need something to cover in video like this I can propose to you Mitology Park in Zatorland in Poland. They have mitology scenes build on platforms that are placed on water. Some of them even move! I remember when I was a kid and was there this was pretty terrifieing expeirence to me...
so earlier today i was watching Deadmeat's friday the 13th part IV video and i JUST learned about the jason statue. i saw this video and was suddenly excited because I KNOW OF A VERY SCARY UNDERWATER STATUE!
That'd be great exposure therapy. :) The more you expose yourself to the things that cause you to be irrationally fearful, the more your brain recognizes that they're not a real threat. I hope you get to do that someday.

Fastpass Facts, I’m begging you. Talk about Prometeo again. He’s a large and very impressive bird. Many people don’t remember him or are unaware of his existence and his impact on ECA2’s nighttime spectaculars today.
So the first clip you show of the Awakening is actually of “The Awakening 2” located in Chesterfield, Missouri. I believe it’s a pretty close copy. I use to work at the Macy’s you can see in the background and am very familiar with the area.
So I don't know if this will count but there is two steam locomotives that have been sunk during world war II. Maybe worth looking into for the next video.
I can see and understand why this freaks people out. I have never had this problem except in cases of shipwrecks and submerged and decaying animematronics (autocorrect isn't touching it so I'll assume it could be spelled right)
either an editing mistake or intentional. Eitherway it's fastpassfacts, they won't fix it Akin to Watchmojo, this is a very lazy, low effort channel channel lmao
Imagine a submechanophobia FNAF it would be like Sister Location or Security Breach except your playing as a scubadiver at night work and you have a helping partner and then something happens to the partner later
I want everyone to know I used to live in Ojai where they dammed up this gulch where the old Town was and they filled it with water. The town is still down there. The joke was that the best fishing was by the doc's house. There's a school and all. I love/hate this fact.
Hello here's the video without any blurring ruclips.net/video/myMensRtgLk/видео.html
Why was it even blurred
@@haylenbays9497 copyright issues
I thought I was crazy lol
@@jasper_the_techie lmao over a statue? kinda ridiculous thing to blur

And its in the thumbnail, even! Its why I clicked. It made me so sad.

I feel bad for the person who was first to discover the shark statue.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in knowing that person's initial reaction and thought.
Fo real i would be scared. I would want someone to go with me 🤣
Why did they put a shark statue underwater for?
@@altarush not being rude but did you not see the video on why they did it? To me their reasoning for it is pure laziness but still pretty cool.

These are just impressive statues that belong in museums!! Does NOT change the phobia tho 😱

I think you need to do a complete tour of the last location. Would love to see everything it has to offer. Especially the dragon!!
Sadpanda, it's all blurred out for the Jason statute!
I’d be lying if I said the Jason statue doesn’t actually scare me
I hate to the one diver that gets caught by that statue somehow.
In ever video I’ve seen, I keep expecting his eyes to move

Why was half of your video Blurred Out? CopyRight issue about Jason?
