All I have to say is "Oh. my. god." I remember when I was back in high school, everyone in Spanish class had to choose a Spanish name and Ichose Diego cuz I wanted so badly to skate like him. No one can go hammertime like this dude. No one.
The butcher was an absolute RIPPER man. Underrated guy that would huck himself down stairs and was actually pretty tech too. One of the greats for sure
Maestro total, gracias diego por hacer quedar tan bien parado Argentina con este video, fuera del ambito del skate Diego deberia ser reconocido tambien por ser un Orgullo Agentino.
First saw this guy when he did the Transworld I.E Video in early 2000s. Diego had the biggest influence on me as a young teen skater back then. His energy and aggressive I don't give a s**t style was and is so infectious:) ARGENTINA BROS!
very fucking best era of skateboarding. wasn't video-game-mode, was extremely motivational, wasn't over-saturated. Fuck, man. this is it. and "That's life," Cole's New Blood part, which IS the best skateboarding, to me. but this is right up there. Miss these days so much
@@joshcalvo I stayed with Pancho Moler and Diego Bucchieri in 1999 when they were Think teammates living in a tiny garage studio apartment together in SF. Diego would just sing Guns N’ Roses loud as fuck in the shower every morning 😂 that’s what me and Pancho would say to each other about it ha ha Diego was super cool and absolutely destroying shit, glad I got to skate with those guys back then.
@@joshcalvo cheers bro! My original comment was 11 years ago too ha ha skate forever, the butcher was the shit! He’s still killing it. Blessed to hang with him back then
The camera angle does not do justice for that first stair. In real life that thing was freaking huge. Same thing with the 4 block in Barcelona, you don’t realize the magnitude of some of these spots.
At the time, I believe that was the biggest stairset anyone had rolled away from. It was after Boulala tried the Léon 25, but still years before Jaws would get it.
Was @4:31 the trick he did in the Friends section of Zero's "Dying to live?" I remember that was my favorite trick I just wondered if its the same but from a different angle. Dying to live he's way zoomed out.
I remember when this video came out. Ordered it out of CCS. This is melissa’s husband by the way. I haven’t been on a board in ten years. I got good, got several sponsors and several competition wins. And like a lot of us, got into partying to much and got in trouble. Lost sponsors and everything. Building a mini ramp in my yard to get back into it as a hobby. Anyways, this is my favorite part in good and evil. It’s right up there with Chris coles part in New blood tre flipping Wallenberg.
Diguito papa como dijo Santiago MADE IN ARG LOCO!!! Para los gatos brasucas que decian que rodrigo tx era el mejor.. que DGK ni DGK papa Vedova y el Butcher de Toy Machine argentina loco!!
@bakerpunk412 cause hes the fuckin butcher. Most of the gaps he does are fuckin deadly and manages to clear them from a flat surface. But i understand why you would wonder why billy didnt get it cause theres no words that can describe how insane he is

Love the spectators clapping for that last 20 set stairs. You don’t have to be an expert to know you’re seeing something special happen there.
nice true raw skateboarder. Them south americans love them some metal
The Butcher slaying that 20 set was on par with Jamie Thomas’ leap of faith.
