- July 14, 1997. Part 2/2. Jason arrives at the hospital after being shot by the Tin Man. Robin and the Quartermaines wait for news on Jason. Alan blames Sonny and rants about him. Robin defends Sonny. Jax convinces Rebecca to help them.

I miss the relationship between Jason and Ned. Ned is the only one who understood and respected him after the accident

Wow! This was years before I started watching GH. Everyone's so young. It's surreal how calm and sympathetic toward Jason Mac is being.
That's only because he's dating Robin
Even tho you knew Jason and Robin wasn't the future for each other, their relationship was intense and strong for 3 years, but it do makes you wonder what would have happened if they did stay together
I love Robin
Alan was right in my opinion. Jason didn't choose Sonny's life. It fell into his lap. Somewhere there is a scene where Sonny fires Jason in an attempt to make life good for Robin. And Jason is hurt and helpless and really knows no other life. Jason says that. Sonny showed him a life that fit Jason Morgan - a guy no longer capable of fear but with the hands of a surgeon. No parent could easily accept that. I always understood Alan's pain.
Yes, Alan was right, in many ways, but by continuing to attack Sonny, he drove Jason away and prevented any chance of a reconciliation. He may have been right but he was unwise in how he handled the situation.

I think Robin does research mostly.
Jason and Robin were the IT couple back then they still are in my book. I loved GH back in the 90's in was a hell a lot more interesting than the GH of today. I hope that Vaness Marcil(brenda) comes back and they reunite the FAB FOUR, Jason, robin, Sonny and Brenda. They had such a close relationship and were more interesting than the people their with today. Brenda and Robin are Jason and Sonny's equals, they make the two of them shine.

Carly was creating massive trouble in THIS day and age. It was a really great story arc as well. She and Jason were best buds here.
Check out Caroline Benson 1997. (She came to town in early '96 or even '95. And when Sara Joy Brown played her she was fabulous!)
@GHfan300 I love NED TOO, Wally was the best NED they have had. He brought out the funny and the dramatic side of the other Q's. A lot of that was because of Lois coming into his life. I love NED too especially when he is smart mouthing JAX.
Wally is funny. But that first Ned was soooo very sexy with Monica.

It's weird how Robin was afraid of infecting Jason and now she's a doctor on GH. What kind of doctor is she, anyway? A surgeon?

Of course Sonny lied. Everyone does at some time or other.Anyone who claims they don’t lie is lying right there. But Sonny was not a notorious liar like Carly. He lied when it was necessary.
True. When he thought it necessary. FOR HIM. And Jason, who claimed to be the truth-sayer, thinks nothing of lying by omission. But neither Sonny nor Jason are a match for lying Carly, that's for sure.
Ordinaryfool Actually, Jason has never claimed that he did not lie. That claim was made for him by other people. In fact he admitted severall times that he lied. He also admitted that his aversion to lying was as much that he was not good at it. He said his face got hot when he tried to lie.

Robin exaggerated. Of course Sonny lies. Everyone does. Anyone who claims they have never lied is lying. But Sonny has never been a big liar who lies at the drop of a hat.
Wow. The Cassadine/Spencer story looks really interesting, too, from that little synopsis Alexis gave. GH was so good back then.

I miss that Alexis. Back when she was hilarious. Ned was always putting himself between Alan and Monica.

What??? Robin has HIV & has bleeding cuts. If she touched him while both of em were bleeding her HIV in her blood could go into his bloodstream & he could be infected. She did what she did so he wouldn't get HIV cuz that's how she got it from Stone. He had AIDS & was bleeding & so was she & she touched him while both of em were bleeding and got it. She did a good thing by not touching him.
Actually Stone was infected when he had unprotected sex with a former girlfriend. Stone gave HIV to Robin, when they had unprotected sex before he found out he had it. There is an episode where Jason and Sonny talk about it.
